This one would be done a little different than most Muppet performances of classic musicals. It would be a concert by the Electric Mayhem, with some of the other Muppets performing certain roles, and it would be truer to the 1993 play as far as plot goes, with some nods to the film and to the 1989 "Who On Ice" tour (otherwise Zoot and Lips would have nothing to do).

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem would be on stage at all times, but here's a rough take on who'd perform which characters:

KERMIT THE FROG as Capt. Walker (also directing)

MISS PIGGY as Mrs. Walker (and yes, she will smash a mirror as only she can)

ROBIN THE FROG as Tommy (age 4)

FARLEY (from "Sesame Street") as Tommy (age 10)

LITTLE JERRY (from "Sesame Street") as adult Tommy

LINK HOGTHROB as the lover

UNCLE DEADLY as Uncle Ernie

THE MEAN GENIE (from "Fraggle Rock") as Cousin Kevin

DR. TEETH as the Hawker ("The Reverend" in the film)

GONZO THE GREAT as the Preacher (he does Arthur Brown's bit from the film)

JANICE as the Acid Queen

SCOOTER as the Champ (the local lad who sings "Pinball Wizard")

ANNIE SUE PIG as Sally Simpson

DR. BUNSEN HONEYDEW as the Specialist

There would also be an Abbott & Costello "Who's On First"-type bit between Fozzie Bear and Sgt. Floyd Pepper over "who wrote 'Tommy'." When Scooter asks Kermit if he's going to set Fozzie straight, Kermit opts not to, saying it's payback for "that dumb 'the comedian's a bear' bit."

This was a fun one to come up with a Muppet cast for. I saw it many moons ago as a high school production.
