Lighting ideas for home office
Hi all!
I would like to ask for ideas regarding lighting in my home office.
About my office: The brown cabinet is only temporary there and otherwise the room is completely empty, but eventually I'm going to fill it up with furniture. The desk is in it's final place however.
About the issue:
- Scenario 1: the only window in the room is south-facing (and I live in the northern hemisphere) so on most days I have strong sunlight coming in, therefore I need to shut my blinds completely. I would like to have some ideas what lighting setup should I use to avoid feeling like a caveman due to sitting in the dark. My current ceiling lamp is the cheapest from IKEA, so I'm not surprised it's not feeling good. I was thinking of getting a large LED panel with adjustable light temperatur so during the day I could have colder light to keep me "awake". Is this a good idea in a home office?
- Scenario 2: I sometimes work late hours and I don't want to have the ceiling lamp turned on, what kind of lamps should I get to achieve a cozy, warm mood for my late-night work sessions?
Thanks for the advice in advance.
