Ecotricity | ECOWholesale

I'm looking at moving to ECOWholesale, but trying to get any information out of Ecotricity is like blood out of a stone.

They're telling me there is no cost over and above the spot price, apart from the usual daily fixed and network charges.

Can anyone on the plan verify this is correct? Seems too good to be true.

Leaky shower

I have a tiled shower (about ~20 years old) that’s leaking. I can see it coming out down the outside of the shower waste, and it appears to be getting under the tiles and making its way elsewhere too.

Though I am going to have the shower re-grouted and siliconed, I’ve managed to determine that the leak seems to originate somewhere near the waste.

Can anyone tell me from this photo (I’ve pryed off the grill, and the actual grill bit I have but is missing from the photo):

  1. How is it likely to be leaking? I am hoping to lather it in silicon this weekend but it would be good to

know

  1. if I’m wasting my time.

  2. Does this look like the typical way this waste and the junction between it and the tiles) would be installed?

  3. What brand/model of waste is this?

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Aerator removal

Anyone know how I can remove this? I think it’s a Levivi kitchen tap. It doesn’t seem to have indentations on the side like I’ve seen online.

Help deciding replacement

My Saros 10 has just died (mop would no longer reattach) and I’m wanting to replace my vacuum. Had a s8 ultra for 3 years which was great, until it also had some issues with the mopping function.

Want to replace it with something that ideally won’t have any problems 2 years down the track.

Need something that vacuums well and mops, everything else is a nice to have.

For anyone else using Ecotricity on their TOU plans, are you seeing inaccurate metering data?

I have a battery automation which charges 6AM-7AM and 4PM-5PM, yet I'm seeing this reflected in their metering portal as between 7-8AM and 5-6PM respectively. It's almost like their metering hasn't updated for daylight savings.

Has anyone noticed similar?
