Can I stop testing

Today is 20 days past the sexual encounter I am concerned about. I tested this morning and it was negative but looked like an indent on the test after three minutes was up. I just had my withdrawal bleed and I am on birth control, but worry about possible pregnancy. Can I stop testing? Would a test be very positive by now if I was pregnant?

Am I safe?

I had sex on July 25. I tested negative at 13 and 14 days and then again today at 18 days. Can I trust this and stop testing?

I am also worried about sex on August 1. I tested negative today and it’s been 11 days. Can I trust this?

Am I safe?

I am on birth control (Combo pill) and had sex on July 25. Can I stop testing for this since it’s been 18 days? I had sex again on August 1. Does this cover it, or should I retest? FYI, I test to ease my anxiety. 🫣

14 days. Reassurance needed

I am on the combo birth control pill but have had anxiety about it failing even though me and my husband also use the pullout method. The sex took place on July 25. Today is 14 days. Can I stop testing?!

Confirming ?

I am on Sprintec birth control but I have been having terrible anxiety the last two weeks. It’s 13 days post sexual encounter (July 25) We used withdrawal, but I have a fear my pills were compromised. Can I trust these negatives?

Taking pills out of blister pack

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I took each days pill out of the blister pack at 5 AM. I put the days pill in a ziplock bag and took it to work with me. I have about a 50 minute drive to work and I get in the office around 7 AM. I put the ziplock bag with the pill in my desk organizer and then took it at 9 AM.

Is my pill compromised or am I totally overthinking this?

On Thursday - today I decided to switch my pill time to 6 am so I wouldn’t have to worry about this anymore! 😅

Am I at risk

I am on the first week of my new pack (Sprintec Combo pill). Today, I brought my Wednesday pill to work and I can’t remember if I took it or not (I usually take it at 9 AM). So after worrying myself, I decided to take the same pill (Wednesday on 1st week) from a backup pack I have and took it at 5:45 pm this evening. I had sex on Saturday with pullout method.

Does this make me late? Am I still protected? Is my encounter from Saturday protected?

Sprintec Combo Pill

I take my pill daily at 9 AM. Through the week I carry my pack with me in its cover and put it inside my purse. I have about a 40 minute drive to work and then during work it stays in my office in my purse. After work I go to the gym and bring my purse inside. I’m always worried about temperature affecting my pills. Does anyone see any issue with this?

Also one of my pills in my last pack had a lot of pill dust and looked chipped. My pharmacist said it was fine but to be cautious I took that same pill out of another pack. Is that okay?

Terrible anxiety

I don’t see anything on any of these but my mind loves to play tricks on me. I’m on oral birth control (combo pill) and use the pullout method. I just had a heavy withdrawal bleed last week. It’s been 22 days since the situation I am concerned about. I am aware it’s very unlikely I am pregnant, but test out of caution. Do the line test look negative?

Reassurance

I experience anxiety honestly on a monthly basis about the effectiveness of my birth control. I’m on Sprintec, take daily and never miss a pill and my partner pulls out. This morning I took a test just to reassure myself everything was fine, well to my surprise there looked to be an indent line. Others tell me they can’t see anything, so it could be me. I just had my withdrawal bleed last week which was heavy and lasted about 3-4 days.

Am I overthinking this too much? In some way, venting like this helps me. Thanks!

Taking pills out of pack

I take my Sprintec each day at 9:00 am. Instead of taking my entire pack to work with me, is it safe to take the days pill out of my pack that morning and take the pill with me?

Bilateral Salpingectomy

Does anyone have BCBS Kentucky and was your bilateral salpingectomy covered? Does anyone have recommendations for me to do prior to my surgery? I hope to have mine scheduled in September/October.

Bilateral salpingectomy

I am 26, married, with no children. I am currently on oral birth control and want a bilateral salpingectomy. I have known my entire life I do not want children. I have an appointment on Friday to speak with my OBGYN about the possibility of a bilateral salpingectomy. I’m curious if anyone could share their experience and if your doctor was receptive or resistant?

Damaged Pill

I am currently taking my active pills and next week begins my placebo pills. I noticed my Thursday pill has powdery residue in it and the inside looks dusty? Has anyone experienced this before? What did you do?

Changing the time

I have been taking my birth control pill at 9 AM everyday. However, I would like to change the time to 5 AM. This would allow me to leave my pills at home instead of taking them with me to work and then being in my purse all day.

I start my placebo pill tomorrow. When is the best time to change this time? Can I just start taking them at 5 on the 1st day of my new pack?

Thank you!

Reassurance

I am on Sprintec birth control. I take it everyday, never missed a pill. Last month I bled several days before my placebo pills which has never happened. Last week I started experiencing breast soreness and it has continued into this week. My placebo pills do not start until this Sunday. Me and my partner do not use condoms but he does pull out combined with my bc. Has anyone experienced breast soreness as a side effect of bc? I have severe anxiety and this is causing me to believe I am pregnant.
