RBMT Glasses Have Honestly Become Part of My Daily Life

Ever since I bought my RB Meta glasses, they’ve genuinely improved my day-to-day life a lot.

The audio quality is way better than I expected. The open-ear speakers are super convenient, don’t hurt my ears and I don’t have to constantly mess with Bluetooth like regular earbuds. They reconnect really fast every time. Taking photos is also one of the features I use the most. In daylight, I actually think the pictures look more natural than my phone sometimes. Night shots definitely aren’t as good though.

I used Meta AI a lot when I first got them and honestly it felt like having a little assistant with me all the time. I could ask random questions whenever I wanted. The downside is it drains battery pretty fast, so eventually I turned it off most of the time. On my Gen 2, I usually get around 4 hours of battery life mainly listening to music before I need to charge again. Because of that, I ended up buying a Carina S1 charging stand for my office. It looks clean on the desk, charging has been very stable, and overall its been working great for me.

My biggest hope for future smart glasses is better battery life and less weight. After wearing them for a long time, I still feel a bit of pressure on my nose bridge. If they can improve those two things, I’d honestly consider buying another pair in the future.

Overall though, I’m really happy this kind of product exists.

I finally got my first VR headset and as a gamer I’m really excited to jump into VR, especially Alyx. Since I’m not very familiar with VR network setup, I also picked up a dedicated VR router (Puppis S1) from the second-hand market, heard it’s pretty beginner-friendly.

I honestly can’t wait to get started. Would love to hear any recommendations?Games, apps, or anything VR-related!
