Go to any zoo in North America (possibly elsewhere, too, I'm not sure). Walk up to any wetlands-type exhibit. Look down. You will see turtles. Always turtles. Possibly ducks. Probably minnows and small fish. Possibly even koi. But you WILL see turtles. In every zoo I've ever been in, there's just some turtles, sunning themselves on a log, hanging out. Also squirrels, ducks, small birds, and a variety of just sort of ... ambient life. I'd love to see that represented in the game.

There's probably a lot of different ways to implement this, but I'd just have a placeable item, like a "turtle log". It spawns little turtles that sun on the log, swim in nearby water, and possibly pull themselves up onto a shore if there's one in a radius around the log. They don't have needs or anything like that, they don't have lifespans or offspring. They're just small but vital animated elements of the environment. And you could have similar things for other animals (squirrel den, birdhouse, etc). You don't even have to place them in an exhibit. Anywhere that makes sense, you can plop them down.

Like, I want to potentially be abducted by a UFO. I want to romance a vampire. I want to explore an ancient tomb. I want my child to inherit my magic tree when I die.

Does Inzoi or Paralives touch on any supernatural or sci-fi weirdness, or at least venture out of the classic rural/suburban/urban settings?
