Are we doing media's job? be mindful on how we post about Michael

I have to say that it has been a heartwrenching experience to have constant feeds of blatant accusations or screenshots popping up on a daily basis, from our very own MJInnocentFacts community.

I'm imploring MJ fans to be mindful of what headlines you use when posting. Remember what the media did to MJ: they used sensationalized headlines that were totally negative to Michael.

In our own discussions, we should not amplify through headlines the very falsehoods we are trying to fight. Keep in mind that many casual scrollers might read them without ever clicking through to body of discussions.

I'd say, use a headline that is positive to Michael's innocence and discuss the dirty in details? When you do want to use a screenshot/picture which you want to debunk, will you annotate it sufficiently to make the falsehood clear?

The so called 30 days at someone else' shouse, jurors did not believe it, why would we?

We need to talk about this testimony. We should not fall in guilters' trap.

I was looking an earlier post and comments, where Michael's staying at Jordan's house 30 days (on or off, or whatever) was brought up.

It is very important that we do not fall in these traps. There is no proof for Michael going to Jordan's house for 30 days (a few times during a 30 days timeframe could be possible, but total 30 days or accumulated? no chance!). It was all from June Chandler's own testimony in 2005 and guilters own spins. Chandlers were motivated to fabricate anything to prove their financial settlement. Michael had a very busy life, bodyguards, staffs all around him. It's not even logical for him to have that much time hanging out at anybody's house.

Michael's legal team never wasted time to debunk June's testimony as it did not matter for 5 days, or 30 days if Michael never had any malice. Defense's strategy was to attack the overall trustworthiness of those prosecution witnesses.

And that strategy paid off. When the jurors spoke to the press after the trial, they made it clear they found the prosecution's witness testimony overall to be deeply unreliable, contradictory, and motivated by financial gain.

What I wanted to say is, jurors did not believe these lies. Why would we? If guilters bring it up, tell them jurors found the testimony deeply unreliable, contradictory, and motivated by financial gain.

Remember that the defense dismantled many false testimonies (yes those testimonies under the oath!). They completely fell apart under cross-examinations. So never let guilters recycle those lies and always call them out for what they are

Tactics - stop defending with details and just shut down lies

We have lots of discussions on CP books, sleepovers, who said this and that. I don't think there is a need on details when debating with guilters as they are not seeking truths. Guilters cling to their desire to make Michael guilty - no matter what facts we give them.

I had debates with them recently, and a few guilters ended up throwing tantrums, dropping profanities, and completely falling apart because they knew they are in the wrong and wouldn't admit. I was never afraid of calling out their lies by sticking to two eras arguments.

Era 1 (pre-2005, no waste time on details with them. Everything guilters recycle from this era - just shut it down)

Everything prior to 2005 was already dragged through the mud and completely dismantled under the absolute highest scrutiny. FBI investigated Michael for over a decade, tapped his phones, monitored him. Keep in mind Michael's privacy was turned upside down - and absolutely zero evidence of wrongdoing found. Any further discussion using anything from that era as "proof" ignores basic facts in favor of guilters' own confirmation bias.

No need for details. I tell them they are being dishonest by spreading lies, relying on hearsays. If they are interested in facts, go find court transcripts and read actual records.

Era 2 (post-2009 - just tell them there are too many laughable inconsistencies)

Post-2009 claims are all about Robson/Safechuck/Cascio madeup narratives - their laughable inconsistencies on timelines, locations, and context all fell apart in front of public eyes. They simply do not have any credibility. Look at these liars own friends, relatives, coworkers, who came out to defend Michael's character.

And then look at the number of people who actually lived and worked alongside Michael, staff, security, vocal coach, his managers, friends, and child stars who spent years with him, have consistently maintained his innocence and character.

Dan Karaty newly published article on medium

He seems to devote more time nowadays to defending Michael: "For Netflix, I’m calling for the top executives to publicly acknowledge and apologize for the despicable timing of the release and the anti-Michael bias of the producers. They should either pull down the “documentary” or, at a minimum, place a disclaimer on it.

For the Cascio family, they should come clean, admit they’ve been lying, and apologize to Jackson, his family and fans. The apology would go a long way.

For Wade Robson, he should drop the lawsuit, apologize, and get back to sharing with the world his God-given, Michael Jackson inspired talent. Trust me, he doesn’t need the dirty money grab — he can make it on his own.

For the biased, dishonest, compromised men and women who continue to pervert journalism, it’s time to stop… not because I said so, but because it’s the right thing to do."

Tributes from Frank Dileo and Jerry Greenburg in the Opus

I was reading Opus, the tributes from Frank DiLeo (manager), and Jerry Greenberg (MJJ executive). They are two of Michael Jackson’s most vocal champions and fiercely loyal defenders.

DiLeo was fired in 1989, yet he stayed in California for over three months at his own expense during 2005 trial to be at Michael's side and defend his innocence. His showup surprised Michael and drove him to tears.

Greenberg has routinely maintained his position that Jackson was an exceptional, gentle professional who was unfairly portrayed by the media.

What makes their tributes stand out is that they specifically mentioned the greatest artists the world has ever known, including beatles, Elvis, Aretha Franklin, and Fred Astaire, and neither DiLeo nor Greenberg hesitated to say Michael is the best of them all.

LN supposed to cancel Michael, has been reduced to a footnote

Imagine how jealous and regret he is now, Dan reed never believed Robson/Safechuck. He chose to completely ignore facts because he just wanted viewership and money, just like the two liars.

He hoped to build a narrative in LN to cancel Michael's legacy, but the $1B biopic has completely flipped the media landscape on him.

Moneywise, a fair, objective, or even celebratory look at Michael's life and global impact would have been more lucrative. By chasing a #metoo headline, he built a shit that stinks all over.

The Psychology Behind the Injustice: Rolling Stone, Media, and Guilters - Jealousy and it is called "Tall Poppy Syndrome"

Rolling Stone never ranked Michael fairly and the media relentlessly treated Michael like a criminal. Why? I always thought there is an element of jealousy in them. Michael is just too big, too good. The fact that the whole world loves Michael threatens their own status.

Rolling Stone is rooted in raw, guitar-driven rock-and-roll. When Michael’s versatile music completely shattered the musical landscape, Rolling Stone had to claim their power.

Similarly for the media, they are not comfortable with Michael’s super status. Michael didn't just sing and dance; he became so powerful in a white-dominated industry, so the media desperately attempted to drag him down to a scale they could control and exploit.

Guilters do the exact same thing. They look at Michael and can’t stand Michael’s eccentricities because then they can put themselves on a higher moral ground. Attacking Michael gave them a false sense of being a better human being. By convincing themselves of ridiculous lies, they get to feel "smarter" and more right. Bunch of losers who can’t accept facts!

Damn it. This is all called Tall Poppy Syndrome! Shame on all of them.

Found this, a French interview, put Dan Reed in a corner. He did not believe what he filmed. It shows.

Highlights from the lovely commenters

Best part is 8:43 “You should maybe search in another direction for the guilty, maybe not in the direction of Michael Jackson’s bank account?”

2:30 the moment Dan Reed finds out this interview is not going to work out well for him

11:38 "the two actors"

5:41 just admitted Wade's motive for suing the estate

11:42 Dan Reed's grimace, unbearable - liar!

And one commenter nailed it "I LOVE watching this without subtitles also, not understanding what they are saying. To just acutely watch the faces here, the French will not be convinced, they know instinctively that this is a farce. And Dan Reed's face is nervous, not strong in his point of view, weak."

So who awarded LN/DR Emmy and BAFTA wins, it's ridiculous, will go down in history as a huge flop. It already is

who were the members or juries of those awarding bodies. I understand it was metoo era but people, are you not blind??

A few facts about the books that guilters use to attack

I am new to MJ fan community, and I am appalled by the amount of mis-information floating around. Specifically their claim of CP found and their association of NAMBLA are totally FALSE. And I see a lot of counter points from fans argue that those are not CP pictures. But we have stronger facts.

Here are the ones I wrote this morning. I did research and verified through multiple sources. The guilters' main symptom is to state FALSE allegations as facts. We need to use facts to counter.

  1. There were no CP pictures found at Neverland Ranch, nor did the prosecution ever formally charge Michael Jackson with possessing or producing it.
  2. The book that guilters referred to - The Boy: A Photographic Essay, was a gift sent to Michael Jackson by a fan named Rhonda from Chicago, in 1983. The prosecution's core argument was that MJ used the photography art books to groom the accuser and his brother. However, neither the accuser’s nor his brother’s fingerprints were found anywhere on those art books. Prosecutors tried to plant fingerprints and backfired.
  3. This is totally false: " the books were made by known pedophiles and marketed for “Boy loving Men”. The books were legally published in the 1960s/70s by mainstream publishers as classical art and anthropology but they later became popular in underground subcultures. None of the publishers and none of the editors and compilers were ever known or classified as pedophiles any point in time.

BTW, the book actually features photos from the open, public film set of the mainstream 1963 Hollywood movie Lord of the Flies

And on NAMBLA, there is absolutely zero "NAMBLA authorship" association.

The timelines completely destroys the rumor:

  • The Books: The Boy: A Photographic Essay was compiled and published in 1964.
  • NAMBLA: The organization (North American Man/Boy Love Association) was not founded until 1978, fourteen years after the book was already printed, sold globally, and sitting in public libraries.

Sharing some public records and trial facts to defend Michael

Hi everyone,

I'm a long time MJ fan but new to reddit MJ communities. I spent some time recently defending Michael and found providing specific facts quoting sources have been quite effective. So I wanted to share what I have used to handle detractors. I recently used these tactics to completely break a couple opponents' arguments to the point where they threw toxic tantrums, profanities, cursing me, which only proved they lost the debates.

When detractors rely on internet myths or simply spelled out lies, I dropped these facts on them:

1. FBI materials drawing conclusion that there was no record of accessing, searching for, or possessing illegal material. Same material Tom Sneddon refused to accept as non-evidence so he failed in all aspects of his prosecution.

The primary public PDF files currently hosted on the official FBI Vault website (vault.fbi.gov) consist of 351 pages across 8 separate files. The gross volume of materials reviewed, processed, and logged via the original FOIA releases, including cross-referenced agency files and duplicate forensic logs, exceeded past 600 pages.

Michael is the most thoroughly investigated celebrity in FBI history with 13-Year investigations: FBI summary text explicitly states: 'These investigations occurred between 1992 and 2005.' This was a 13-year span of active federal monitoring, cross-border interviewing, and technical assistance.

The CART Report (The Smoking Gun): In Part 2 (44 pages) of the files, look at the official report from the FBI’s Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) dated April 5, 2004, addressed to Sheriff Jim Anderson. The FBI's elite cyber unit deeply audited 16 confiscated hard drives and explicitly concluded there was no record of accessing, searching for, or possessing illegal material.

2. The Myth of the "Secret" Hideout (The Security Alert System) Detractors and the 2019 documentary love to claim that Michael's bedroom was an impenetrable, private fortress with secret doors designed to trap people. The actual trial evidence proved the exact opposite:

Michael's bedroom is Open-Door: During the 2005 trial, testimonies from Neverland staff, security guards, and builders proved that Michael’s bedroom was highly accessible and constantly busy with maids, chefs, and security personnel coming and going.

It's a standard security system: The "alarm" or "alert" system detractors twist into something sinister was actually a standard commercial security intercom and monitoring system installed across the entire 2,700-acre estate. It was designed to protect Michael who faced constant, documented death threats and stalkers, by alerting security guards if anyone entered the main residential wing. It wasn't a trap to lock people in; it was a highly monitored security net to keep unauthorized intruders out.

3. The Art Books vs. Nude photos: Detractors frequently try to argue that the nudity in the art books Michael owned was inherently illicit. This can be completely shattered with federal law and art history:

Under 18 U.S. Code § 2252, possession of illegal material involving minors is a strict federal felony. The primary book seized from Neverland was The Boy: A Photographic Essay, published openly in 1964 by Arco Publishing Company, New York (a standard commercial publisher).

The FBI and the Santa Barbara District Attorney legally vetted every piece of media seized from Neverland. Because mid-century European nudism and figure photography are legally classified as non-pornographic art, Jackson was never hit with federal or state possession charges for them.

If a detractor claims any depiction of a nude youth is inherently predatory, they are claiming that Michelangelo’s David (which depicts an adolescent youth completely nude) or classical Greco-Roman museum statues are illicit. They are confusing classical artistic tradition with modern obscenity.

FUTHERMORE, this will destroy the detractors even more: the book was from a fan Rhonda as a gift to Michael.

-Gift Inscription: This is a verified fact. LAPD Detective Rosibel Smith admitted on the witness stand that the copy of The Boy seized from the property featured that exact handwritten inscription from a fan named "Rhonda," dating all the way back to 1983.

- Fingerprint Record: The prosecution's fingerprint expert, George "Ken" Jones, testified that they extensively tested the art books and magazines. When it came to the materials the accusers claimed Michael routinely used to groom them, Michael's fingerprints were completely absent from the pages. In fact, the forensic team only found one latent fingerprint belonging to Michael on the outside cover of one item, proving these books sat completely ignored as untouched coffee-table items for decades.

4. Adult Magazines (there is absolute no child pornography). One detractored asked me, "How did boys know where Michael's porn was?" the 2005 trial transcripts completely expose the lie:

The defense successfully established that the accuser and his brother had been snooping through Michael’s private belongings without his knowledge or permission while he was away from his bedroom or traveling.

Timeline Collapse: The accuser claimed under oath that Michael showed him specific adult magazines (like Playboy and Penthouse) to groom him before the family left Neverland for the final time on March 12, 2003.

Their perjury: When the police actually cataloged the magazines seized from the ranch, several of them had publication and release dates from months after the boy had already left Neverland (such as a Penthouse issue dated July/August 2003 and a DVD released late March 2003). The boy claimed to see items that did not exist yet at the time he claimed to have seen them.

5. About Dr. Jane Goodall accusing Michael abused Bubbles

Jane Goodall’s primary stance has always been a general, systemic opposition to keeping chimpanzees and exotic animals as pets; she never leveled specific accusations of abuse against Michael. On the contrary, Jane and Michael are friends for the same cause, protecting animals. here is a CNN article. Jane had a lot nice things to say about Michael and Michael was also receptive to her concerns. "heal the world" song was inspired by the concerns on animals.

As a matter of fact, the Center for Great Apes, the accredited professional sanctuary where bubbles lived since 2005, stated that bubbles arrived in excellent health, exhibited normal social behaviors, and that they have "seen no evidence of former neglect or abuse.

Context on Dr. Goodall later views: While detractors try to weaponize statements Goodall made in later years expressing concern over Bubbles, her criticisms were entirely based on her general, lifelong philosophical view that chimpanzees and exotic wildlife should never be kept as domestic pets or used in human entertainment, a broad stance she applies universally, not a personal reflection on the environment or safety of Neverland itself.

Finally watched the movie and I think the best actor is Joe Jackson, the young Michael did very well too

Jaafar physically imitated well and did wonderful in music and dance but lacked gravitational pull and depth in expressing Michael. To be fair to Jaafar, the script itself and scenes were not written for deeper exploration of Michael's artistry, his craft, his inner mind. Michael had to have a much bigger world inside of him to have created all the beautiful music.

Noentheless I cried from beginning to end. Looking forward to the sequel.
