AI-generated Listopia

I came across some AI books through a library system and then on Goodreads which has a list you can vote a book that is created by AI. I'm glad there is this list which helps to avoid supporting theses individuals who claim they are 'writer's'.

Found AI book series in library system

This is disgusting to me, to know that AI slope works are already in our library systems.

Shiny Chains

PM started having carriers have these chains on arrow keys. Weird to see them for Rural side since most carriers attached their arrow keys onto a key ring to their Metris key.

Sick line doesn’t work for small rural offices…

First using the Sick line for my main office and have 8 people. But, before I transferred over a year ago, I was at another office that had about 15 people and I could use the sick line and no one informed that we couldn’t use it. Didn’t have issues and regulars would use it too.

PM called me twice along with a colleague calling and then my husband was called too.
I feel like PM is Bsing me, because why should I text of call work i’m sick if they have that system especially around 1am.

Anyone heard about their having to talk to management about recent pay for their entire PO?

Yesterday, my PM shared to everyone at the office of the issue that the work hours submitted for all of us wasn’t taken care of by Dept of finance (I think). We asked if this was just our office, but it wasn’t and another nearby PO had the same issues. So 20 workers are missing their pay. Also, heard that some management emails got accessed, but I don’t know if that related to our missing pay.

Customer apologizes for Amazon pcks

Total 19 pcks but 4 was in small boxes, while the rest fit in a tub and just packaged from different distribution centers and probably time of when the order were accepted.

Stand up talk about using the RRECS

PM shared that HQ from DC wants us to use RRECS differently.
Any parcel boxes at a customers home off of a driveway or at gate has to be scanned as ‘front door’ only instead of ‘authorized dismount’

Any businesses, medical boxes, CBU’s or very large parcel box with cluster of mailboxes shared at a neighborhood are ‘authorized dismounts’.

I had to write down to remember what the changes were and a lot of carriers were confused and had to check the PM about certain homes of what were there count would be under.

Outgoing mail

Had two APC’s of out going and three pumpkins of outgoing. This pumpkin had to stay behind due to not having its own APC’s to put in.

How gentle can you get with a flat?

It fit in a standard mailbox just fine.

Customer could get a bigger one right?

This home is over 0.5 miles and they are replacing their large mailbox with the same size I had to hold at my office.

Don’t mind the carrier

Neither of them signaled for me to be able to pass and just chitchatting their heart’s content. I wasn’t sure if there was space for me to pass until a hatchback passed by them.

AI art covers

I don’t know how anyone feels about Authors using AI for their books (if there plots aren’t AI generated), but it’s disappointing to see the use of it rather than hiring illustrators. So far I came across 3 Authors with AI art covers and at least one of them have a giveaway of one of their books.
