What Army or Navy roles are best recommended prior to applying to the RoyalMarines?

Been through Uni, (22), now skint, and personal circumstances have prevented me from maintaining my physical fitness.

I have just completed a DAA and am eligible for a wide selection of Rating roles in the RN.

(I can do the DAA again, I was just shy of officer roles)

Not fat or skinny, but I know that if I were to start training for the Marines tomorrow I would not be physically fit enough for that standard of fitness.

I want to join the Armed forces now, build up my fitness and experience prior to applying for the Marines.

So the title, if not applying for the Marines now, what roles would best prepare me to do so a couple years down the line.

Identifying childhood biscuits

Half German here, I spent a lot of my childhood visiting my grandma in Stuttgart, I live in England.

Very often my grandma would gift me a clear plastic bag of droplet-shaped biscuit, the name of these escapes me.

The biscuits were small, each about the size of a pea, peaked like a meringue, quite hard and dense like a pizza crust but very sweet and crumbly once bitten. They came in clear plastic wrapping about the size of a teacup, each with a small label tag.

I have forgotten the name of these and would very much like to try them again, please suggest what it could be:)

Edit: Solved! Thank you everyone, they are Wibele
