Hello everyone!

I’m currently in the market for a new home insurance policy but am running into a lot of difficulty. I live in NW Ocala and my home was build in 1960, it’s in decent condition and has a new roof and almost 100% of the home systems (plumbing/electrical) have been replaced.

I got a non-renewal notice from StateFarm (not claim related, I’ve never made one) and have been shopping since with no luck, my current policy is $2800 a year and THE BEST quote I’ve received so far from Kin was $4800 a year for basic coverage…

Is this the home insurance market now? I’ve received 15+ quotes and I’m losing hope. Please help!!!!

Hey y’all,

I had my surgery this past Thursday and have been managing relatively well up until yesterday morning when I developed this bruised cramping pain in the lower calf muscle of my surgical leg. It mostly affects me when I get up from a laying position OR down from standing to a laying position, it feels like the worst Charlie horse I’ve ever had.

I’ve stayed on top of my meds and been drinking loads of water and electrolyte beverages but it hasn’t done a thing for this pain. Does anyone else have any experience with managing this symptoms? I called my surgeons office but don’t expect to hear back from him for a few hours and I’m desperate for relief!

Hello everyone,

My dad is a 20+ year associate and today he suffered a medical emergency and is still currently in the hospital and really out of it. The last thing on any of our minds was his shift tomorrow morning but when he was awake and mostly lucid he asked us to call out for him but the club is currently closed and he works before they open (@4am), how do I speak to a manager to ensure they know he won’t be coming in tomorrow?

I have no way of contacting any of his coworkers and I don’t know any passwords to any work accounts so I’m incredibly lost…
