Hey fellow MUAs, I need new eyeliner brushes. I’m over the ones I have (art brushes, Kryolan, Ben Nye, random Amazon finds). What are you using? Which ones do you love?

For those of you who work weddings and are doing upstylings, how are you charging? Do you have a sliding fee scale for different styles? Different pricing for bride, bridesmaids, moms, flower girls, etc? Or are you doing flat rate regardless of the style?

Right now I do a sliding scale and different pricing depending on bride vs bridesmaids vs moms but I’m really thinking about doing a flat rate.

Thoughts?

Edit: or maybe not a completely flat rate because I’d feel bad charging the same price for just curls on a bob as I would for a detailed updo or Hollywood waves.

I canceled my account. I have deleted the app. I have cleared my data from my browser. Yet every time I login to certain retail websites I am still redirected through Shopify.

I’m a pro makeup artist. I get professional discounts through certain brands. I can’t access my pro accounts because I am constantly being logged in through Shopify.

I don’t know what to do but I want it to stop. I’m getting so frustrated.

My brother has a box turtle that his brother in law left with him years ago. This poor thing is in a 40 gallon tank with zero enrichment, zero lights, and just shavings and a dish of water. I’m going to try and talk him into giving it to me so I can provide a better life for it. Even if he won’t I’d still like to upgrade his living situation.

What are the immediate things I need to get for it?

Does anyone have any trusted sources for education about care?

Anything you think I need to know would be immensely helpful.
