Whats the definition of playing the H-Game?

I never really thought about it and I am sick and tired of TikTok clowns explaining it one after another. Telling you how to score a Birkin with no spending history, etc.

I want to be able to shop without feeling like I don't belong, without having to worry about how I look and I want to be respected not treated like a burden. Thankfully I didn't have any bad experience at Hermes yet however, it's better to be prepared for the worst case scenario.

And Hermes is one of those brands where you don't have to worry about it being too trendy and then becoming outdated and uncool. Theres always something for everyone, from Elegant to Edgy.

So how do you play the Hermes Game "correctly" and what advice would you give someone who's rather anxious about shopping in person. I am not talking about scoring a QB per se but building a proper relationship with an SA/Store long term...Thank you for your takes :)

Hermes Spain (Marbella) and my spending history

Hey, I will be in Marbellla by mid June this year and I was wondering if anyone has any form of experience with the store and or contacts of SAs

I have been in the Hermes game since 2020 to be exact. MY local Hermes store closed in 2021. Ever since then I have been buying things from the website or on the second hand market.

Hermes germany (Where I am located) doesn't really have many options and colors to pick and choose from, not even the website.

I have recently bought an Hermes Agenda (PM) in the exact color way I wanted, second hand of course and since I am an equestrian I couldn't find the Hermes Riding blazer and leggings on the website in Germany but I found it in the USA. Somehow managed to order these two items on top.

I am really conflicted because I own a lot from the brand with little to no purchase history in stores. I was also wondering if they happen to offer tailoring for their RTW and if they fix leather goods. I am not talking stains but actually my coin purse being cut in half...or if its basically useless, before I drag everything with me to Marbella...Thank you all

Unhinged Obsession with Work [Germany]

Hey, I work in HR. Made a few posts in the past. Things have settled. I dont hate the environment or job anymore, whatever.

My coworker was supposed to be sick this week because he is technically sick and he shouldn't be working whiles sick. No one cares more about this rule than germans do. They tell you "If you are sick, you are sick. Stay at home and dont bring your sickness into the office. You can infect your coworkers."

My Co-worker decided to be sick and log into work whilst on sick leave to help me out with work. While it is nice to get help...I think it's very much unhinged because the last thing I want to deal with is work. And I have already been working overtime almost every single day, which is getting out of hand , since my manager told me that the budget doesn't allow them to give me the chance to work more than 50% instead of the regular 100%.

So if I call in sick do I have to log into work to track down the work that needs to be done be done or am I allowed to actually deal with my sickness? This is really getting unhinged because no one seems concerned or worried. In my old work place people will let the Manager know about this, idk. Any thoughts?

If he works while sick, will that become the unofficial expectation for everyone else?

BANGS GONE TERRIBLY WRONG - Help me!

I went to the hairdresser today and asked for the reference photo. He told me that since I have a smaller frame and a smaller face that he wasn't going to cut it all the way to the back but give me a layout and make it less rough.

I thought he did a good job until I left the salon. And realized how bad of a job he actually did.

  1. didn't wash my hair, 2. didn't cut my hair evenly 3. the photo you are seeing is how my hair looks like if I want to put it in a pony tale. (Impossible) The hair goes all the way back to almost the back of my head...I want a refund and a fix. Please help me please. I have work and events to attend.

Edit: He told me he had 18 years of experience...I am so shocked. I have been growing my hair out for the past 2 years due to prior hair damage from other hair dressers and now this. I am dying inside and crying. I will call them tomorrow and ask for a fix or refund or anything so I dont look like a clown and dont have to use a million bobby pins to fix it.
