Just a clarification - even if the Einzberns won and were able to access the Third Magic, who would be wielding it?

AFAIK, there are no remaining members of the original Einzbern family. What's left of them is a Golem and the homunculi factory that produces the Justeaze-model vessels, right?

What's Happening in CDO?

Been away from most social media for years now, but also want to know any local happenings/events in CDO? Art classes, cooking classes, local conventions, art alleys, etc.?

As a single and childfree millennial, I'm in that phase of life where my friends are either shacking up or being parents so I spend a lot of my time talking to my cat or my family (the former I can do for the rest of my life, the latter I need a break sometimes lol)

It'd be great if we also had like a page where all of these events could be posted because the algorithm play of social media sites are so bad, you literally have to search out the events themselves to even find them. I try my best not to go back because the brainrot and doomscrolling is real.

Sometimes, it just sinks in that - in 6 years - MCR went from underground band into a huge, colossal wave crashing into popculture and clearing out arenas

Was talking to an old high school friend 'bout our early days being punk/emo fans, reminiscing about growing up with MCR, donned the whole black ensemble with the red tie, all that pizzazz, and it just sort of sunk in how quickly the boys blew up at a time when pop was starting to inch rock/alternative off the mainstream.

They were huge here in the Philippines, and we didn't even have the advantage of visible merchandise like most Americans did with stuff like Hot Topic, Fuse/MTV and local shows. They've only ever been here once (during TBP World Tour back in the late 2000s, and an upcoming Reunion Tour concert in November).

Also, his kid became a fan after finding 'dad's old MCR merch in the attic' and I don't think I've ever felt my age as sharply as I did until he mentioned that lol

Finally took the time to sit down and listen through the latest Of Monsters and Men album, All is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade (2025). This is probably my favorite off the album, and definitely in one of my top 5 OMAM songs.

A very haunting introspection in the dissolution of a relationship, where two people are at incompatible odds - contrasting imagery (silo/olive tree, bunny/reptile), one person still clinging tight and unable to let go (fruit bat) while the other feels detached and has checked out of the relationship (I need something you don't seem to need). Ends with a 3 minute outro with a marching band feel like it's still urging you to keep going, keep moving forward. Love songs like this - where an edge of hope is still visible on a darkening horizon.

(is it obvious I've replayed this song for hours straight lol)

Check out their live performance here if you feel like breaking and fixing yourself at the same time
