Being tossed around by everyone at this point ✌️
It’s finally here.. the Usopp and Hajrudin masterclass is going to be heavenly
The ultimate God Valley parallel... half of them already have conqueror's, the other half have all the reason to unlock it themselves, they have to... and this time however, they'll win. (Also can't wait for the og God Valley scene to hit the big screens).
If Kuma were to extract 1% of Current Luffy's pain, it genuinely would be powerful enough to wipe out our current earth's population in seconds, and I might not even be overexaggerating.
Like just looking at this panel, I'm seeing more black than white even whilst in Gear 5th, and I wonder how they'll even adapt all this blood into the anime. Truly gut-wrenching.
Do not clown on my goat, the swords that skewered him actively drained his lifeforce and he was attacked by the Top 1 in the verse, and he still got back up, no way he'd give up. Especially not after his brother's were dissed. What are y'all thoughts?
Luffy truly has been living up to the title of an emperor, look at the masterclass he's been pulling off. I get that this is the final saga of the story, of course he needs to be at his A game all the time, but this is still pretty impressive I can't lie.
He can casually use Gear 4th attacks whilst in base form, and has likely found a workaround of sorts for his cooldowns (transforming on and off).
He casually uses Gear 5th against random animal fodder, and seems to be able to switch it on and off with zero difficulty, and his stamina with it has increased TREMENDOUSLY. 2 swords impaled to a tree and still in Gear 5th.
You can make the argument that his base stats are also slowly improving, like I don't think anybody talks enough about Luffy casually jumping across the entirety of Elbaph in a single leap, fast enough to blitz Imu in the face. To top it off, the noticeable increase in Battle IQ.
Now with the newest hints and Gaban's injury, we know our boy Luffy is locking tf in. What are y'all thoughts on this? Is Luffy a top tier or emperor level?
It looks like in the new brief spoilers, that there is another Japanese sword aside from Muramasa named Honebami. With all the recent theories of Muramasa being linked to Nusjuro, this new sword might be a better candidate instead.
It's named "bone eater", and as you can see, there is a little bit of a visual connection there. Plus, the way Muramasa was mentioned seemed like it's being saved for something more important later down in the line. Whether Nusjuro wields this blade, or someone else of the Ethanbaron family does (similar to Sommers wielding the blade for the Shepard family).
Perhaps this wielder will be Brook's matchup, yohohohoho! Skeleton vs. "Bone Eater" sounds gruesome. What are y'all thoughts?
With all the new recent spoilers coming out confirming how all of these weapons Imu are using belong to one of the 19 holy families, and the previous one he used (Sword of Wrath: Gram) also being one of them... perhaps Nemesis happens to be one of them?
There have been lots of theories surrounding Mihawk's lineage, and perhaps he really is linked to one of the 19 holy families and this weapon/attack has something to do with it.
Now aside from Mihawk's lineage being from a separate unknown family, the idea of Mihawk being linked to the Nerona lineage may not even be far off... Adding on to all of the other intriguing evidence, it seems that the main glaive Imu seems to carry around most of the time and hone his omen based attacks is his primary weapon of sorts, and could be the Nerona family blade. If that happens to be the case, then Imu pulling off this feat (come on bro, it's the same attack and weapon shape as Mihawk's) might just mean Mihawk is connected to the Nerona family, who knows!
I'm excited for the chapter tomorrow, hopefully all of this will be cleared up further. What are y'all thoughts on this?
I'm guessing that many others including myself have already managed to figure out the connection between the 20~ eyes on Imu's ring and all his sword based abilities, and the swords placed beside the Empty Throne that indicate the 19~ kingdoms that later formed the World Government.
If this is news to you or you haven't looked at it in this way, well here you go! It's essentially confirmed.
As we saw, Imu has various sword abilities and likely has 19-20 swords or abilities at minimum, all with their unique properties. Perhaps each sword's ability/property has a unique tie to one of the 20 kingdoms? Perhaps those eyes within Imu's ring are trapped souls of the original founders, who knows!
What are y'all thoughts on this topic, what will we see more from Imu?
So after rereading this chapter, I was just wondering, why is Luffy running away from the fire blasts again all of a sudden?
He was able to easily turn around and deflect them (more of them too then after), and even Jinbei was capable of doing this too. Heck he can even tank all of them too.
So how come he just decided to keep running despite having already known this? Because from what it looks like, him getting chased is what ended up turning him into a donut unless there's something else with the sword's properties I haven't seen anyone talk about much.
I don't want to say Luffy was too stupid in the moment, considering a major and noticeable increase in Luffy's overall battle IQ in Elbaph, so I'm just not sure what exactly happened here.
What are your thoughts on this? (Also lock tf in Luffy we're losing it in break week)
With Sanji getting his powerup and all that, I haven't seen a lot about Imu using his attacks on Luffy and Loki.
Imu has a mix of either badass demonic abilities, or just outright weird ones. These odd smiley faces just make me wonder what Imu looks like in his giant demonic form, the one we saw in the Reverie arc against Sabo.
The comedic aspects of Imu's abilities would be fun when put up against Gear 5, both of them just defy logic. Imagine the things Imu could do that Luffy does or maybe Luffy being able to do what Imu does.
I think it's also pretty clear Imu has a large arsenal of attacks based on swords or weapons. Maybe this ties into those swords that were next to the throne... perhaps all of these silly souls are all the people Imu has taken and forced into worshipping?
Let me hear your thoughts!
Nothing insane, but worth pointing out. How does the door just magically slam shut? I haven't seen anyone talk about it.
Could this perhaps be the person who is controlling the smoke dust that's shrouded Esperia, perhaps Imu in Mar's body, or Growlo's ability? Or is this just magical Imu shenanigans?
Let me know your thoughts!
This guy has spent his entire life with a blindfold and is out here seeing perfectly as if he were Gojo. Makes sense considering they have the same voice actor lol.
I know this is just a cover art but it's definitely in character, it's all pretty impressive with what we've seen Loki do currently in the story. Might even be second to Shanks.
With all of the new "special eyes" traits with Shuri, this just leads me to think there really is something special with dudes eyeballs.
Do we think that the double break week means the chapters we're about to get will be major in terms of lore development and worldbuilding? Perhaps this flashback segways a little bit into the outside world beside Elbaf for a brief period before returning to the action. There being some holy knight with a seemingly important connection as well as a Gorosei is game changing. Can't wait for the next chapter!
With the story finally nearing its end (sort of), there are still some lingering questions we have for our main characters.
Here's my personal thoughts on all of the Straw Hats on whether there's still more to uncover about their life's story and lineage and a letter ranking of importance:
I'm sure plenty of people already believe Shanks, the captain of the Red Hair Pirates has a devil fruit infused with his weapon Gryphon, similar to his twin brother Shamrock. The anime gives us a little teaser of what a Griffin based attack would be like, and it most certainly can function the same way that Shamrock's cerberus weapon does too.
We all know how the Red Hair Pirates exclusively don't use any devil fruits whatsoever, but what if it's because they instead use it with their weapons? Not only does it explain their mysterious and seemingly generic and basic combat styles, but also circles back on the potential with the devil fruit weapons we saw earlier in the story.
It wouldn't be too far off for a genius like Benn Beckman to come up with this idea and utilize his intelligence and skill with a sophisticated devil fruit power, after all he needs some sort of gimmick (raw Haki and combat skill won't cut it, he'll likely be fighting on screen unlike people like Roger and Rocks who fight off screen) to put his tactician skills into practice. Heck, I find it hard that Kid lost his entire arm to a gunslinger who hasn't been shown using a sword, it would be cool if he used a special ability to do so.
Lucky Roo must have a secret key to his speed and wacky abilities, Yasopp could have aimbot or something related to sharpshooting infused with his sniper, and all the other senior officers have some sort of combat/weapon related gimmick technique that can certainly be explained via a devil fruit. Maybe even Bonk Punch's monkey who knows.
There's a popular theory where Shanks purposefully bans devil fruit usage in his crew for a secret reason or hidden knowledge, after all, he's been to quite a lot of places including Roger's crew and the Holy Land. Maybe the theory of the One Piece world sinking in water comes into play, and Shanks is fully aware of this. You get all the benefits from the ability of the fruit, and you don't gain the weakness of drowning, as weapons don't swim or drown. What about when Shanks asked Marco to join his crew? He can fly.
Perhaps I'm wrong and the Red Hair Pirates simply just have weird abilities or techniques like shooting lasers from their mouths simply because they can, but I wouldn't be too surprised at all if Shanks or even Ben and the other high rankers had some sort of devil fruit ability.
