Daytime Running Light

I already have a good full-size headlight for riding at night, but I'd like to find a smaller, lighter option to use as a daytime running light, i.e. a white front flasher. Ideally it'd be USB-C rechargeable, and could mount to a 1/4-20 or Garmin or similar fitting, so I could just mount it under my bike computer mount.

Everything I've seen is trying to be a true headlamp, with a sharp cutoff and long throw, and a large battery capable of sustaining hours of steady light. That's great, but for daytime rides, it's overkill for me. Are there any good daytime running lights with a wide spread, smaller battery, and attention-getting strobing?

Talk me into a better sub

I'm looking to buy a home audio sub to hook up to my Edifier R1700BTs speakers, which do nothing but play music (hip-hop, bass music; never movies or TV) in a relatively large room. This is very much a "secondary use" kind of situation; any serious listening I do happens in my recording studio.

But even for just listening to music while I cook, the Edifiers obviously lack any kind of low-end volume, so I'd like to pick up a relatively inexpensive sub. Currently my front-runner is the Klipsch R-12SW (the older version of the Klipsch R-120SW), because it's like $240 and it's fine.

What alternatives should I consider? Talk me into spending a little more money for a lot better bass.

RF Mount Lens Recommendations

My daily driver is a 70D with an EF-S 18–135mm f/3.5–5.6 IS, but for an upcoming event, I'm renting an R6 Mark III – and was wondering what RF lens I should rent with it. The event is a music festival, and I'll be shooting mostly stills, with some video to use as b-roll for online ads.

The festival is both day and night, with conditions running from bright midsummer noontime sun to fireside acoustic jams (and fireworks) at night.

What lens(es) would you recommend, for this kind of event and conditions? I'm mostly looking for a single do-it-all lens (the RF 24–105mm f/4L IS is my current front-runner), for both convenience and budget – but I'm definitely open to renting a couple if the price and capability is worth it!
