Did the Nords really have an empire as powerful as they are said to have had?

Honestly, I like the Nordic Empire, but when I think about it in general (at least as far as I remember), the Nordic Empire doesn’t seem to have been all that powerful. What I mean is, the conquest of Skyrim took several centuries, and their conquests in Morrowind happened back when the Dunmer were still living in tents. High Rock, for its part, didn’t even have a unified kingdom. And then there’s the Battle of Red Mountain. I don’t think I need to explain how badly that battle went. They lost the war during what was supposedly their prime.

Could the Nine Divines have supported the Mede dynasty?

As far as I understand, the Medes failed to light the Dragonfires because they did not have the blood of Akatosh in their lineage. But despite this, could the Nine Divines have supported the Mede dynasty?

What I mean is, as far as I understand, the Empire fell into chaos after Martin, and Titus I managed to bring Skyrim under his control through cunning and intelligence. However, I’m not sure how accurate this interpretation is.

Anime illaki Japon yapımı mı olmak zorunda?

Efenim geçenlerde adını hatırlayamadığım bir Fransız stüdyosu ilk defa "Japon yapımı olmayan" bir anime yaptıklarını söyledi. Anime kelime manası bakımından zaten "Japon çizgi-filmi" demekte sizce bu illa Japonya'da olması gerektiğini gösteriyor mu efenim?

Contrary to how Carthage is portrayed in popular culture, did it actually have a flag? If so, what did it look like, and what were its colors? Also, do we have any surviving signatures or seals belonging to the Carthaginian dynasties?

Contrary to his portrayal in popular culture, did Hannibal genuinely harbor a deep-seated hatred of Rome, or is this notion merely a later historiographical construct?

I like Hannibal, but I wonder whether the “hatred of Rome” that has been talked about for years is actually true.

Is Shira Mongolian?

Honestly, as far as I know, the Mongols don’t use soldiers who aren’t Mongolian. As far as I remember, Shira is from Samarkand and Muslim(?), so I don’t really understand how he was sent as a soldier.

Did early Muslim scholars accept non-Muslims as their teachers?

As I understand it, a number of early Muslim scholars received instruction from Christian scholars. Indeed, I believe that al-Farabi even engaged in a theological debate concerning the doctrine of the Trinity with one of his teachers. Did early Muslims regard the practice of receiving instruction from non-Muslim scholars as problematic?

What beliefs and philosophies has Sufism been most influenced by?

Some sources on the internet suggest that Sufism was influenced by Zoroastrianism; however, to what extent is this claim supported by historical and academic evidence? I should also clarify that my question concerns early Sufism in particular, rather than the later development of Sufi thought and practice.
