Challenge: Make the Sunset Fresh interesting 🌅

Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for the new ingredients and I’m having a great time with this event, but let’s be real, the Sunset Fresh is boring as fork.. it’s basically a Strawberry Fresh with pineapple puree instead of strawberry puree, and it got it’s own entry in the recipe app. I’ve been very admirative of the dev’s work over the years, both this game and GPGP are amazing…

But this drink ? I’m so sorry Tapblaze, I love you but what even is this… it could have been a special order, and alt order like when customers asks her to replace water with milk for Strawberry Fresh. You could have made such a more unique drink by swapping Strawberry syrup with orange syrup instead (and bring it back for players who missed it during the orange season)

So I got an idea for the community, I challenge you to give some love for the new drink and make it more unique, more interesting, more… sunset-ish.

…. Orrrrr if enough people agrees, for you Tapblaze to rework it a little. I’m sure you are creative enough to make it very unique, I trust you 🥹

[1.X] Every seasons, ranked !

I know, nobody asked, but I wanted to make it since a long time so why not, I’m interested to see people’s ratings about the seasons of Infinity Nikki and also share my opinions about them as a day one player.

There are 12 seasons in 1.X and I decided to rank them all by my own standards and appreciation of them, these includes the stories, the vibes, the locations, not really the banners even if I will probably mention some from time to time. Also, keep in mind that this is based off MY experience in the game, it doesn’t mean my opinion is the only valid one. With that in mind, let’s get right into it !

12th - Version 1.4, Revelry Season. 🎉

I don’t even know where to start since I despised this season with all the fibers of my being. The story took place in a remote, forgotten area of Wishfield, which doesn’t really make sense and I think it would have been way better to just place it in the Wishing Woods and have human NPCs to just come by boat, but whatever, an evil festival mask caused chaos and… that’s basically it ? I tend to love abstract stuff but even for me that season was so forgettable and abstract, the dimension was okayish, nothing too crazy, and I don’t really care about Faewish Sprites (I can’t get attached to them since they all look the same) I remember how long and boring everything was. The scene looked good but it was really annoying to cross it, really, bad, bad season for me.

11th - Version 1.5, Bubble Season. 🫧

I’m sure you saw that coming and is quite surprised I rank it above 1.4, here me out. What kept me engaged with the game was the story, I wanted to know more about Ena, about Miraland and the Miracle Outifts, but also about Nikki and her relatives. Seeing the old intro being wiped out by 1.5 still hurts to this day and I feel sorry to every new players who didn’t experience it. That update introduced the Sea of Stars, who looks absolutely awesome but…. That’s it. It’s plain, boring, there’s a lack of life and wonders there. But it also introduced Serenity Island. And I think that was the best part of it. Even if it looks very Abandonned District-ish, I remember how amazed I was with the rainbow lake, the vibe and was quite into the puppy storyline, even if the boss was kinda bullshit imo. I also liked the runaway stuff there, it was the first time we got to see Nikki’s outside SoS and it made me feel less lonely. But the huge, massive amount of bugs and justified backlash made it the most infamous season for many players.

10th - Version 1.1, Shooting Star Season. 🌌

Despite how low I ranked it, I.. really liked that season. I was always in awe just looking at the sky and seeing these shooting stars all across the map. It was purely cosmetic but I remember that each ingame night the sight was very peaceful and pleasant. And tbh the story was nowhere to be seen, it was so quick and forgettable I can’t even remember it fully. That season also introduced the first « new dimension » don’t know how to call that, but platform challenges, and they were cool to me. Despite it all, I don’t think it was nearly as good as the season ranked above it, it was a filler patch, nothing more. That’s also the last time we’ve seen Ena..

9th - Version 1.6, Playful Season. 🧚‍♀️

Here’s the big one. I have so many things to say about this season, first of all, THE MAZES. Amazing addition and ideas on paper, but in practice ? I’ve been severely sick the whole time. Being very sensitive to motion sickness, these mazes were just torturing me, so much that I couldn’t stay inside them more than 10 minutes without the intense desire to puke, so I couldn’t even take cute pictures on them or find every diamonds hidden inside, I always had to speed run them and get out. But with that in mind, I like how creative they were. Each mazes were very different and challenging on their own ways, and that was great. Now about the story… I know, this whole season was dedicated to children and fairy tales but I’m an adult and not into fairies and stuff, so the whole storyline was deeply childish, boring and I was tired of the constant boomerang Nikki going places and coming back all the time, and that one NPC imitating animals and asking us what animals it was ? For real, my intelligence was mocked, I really disliked that, so much that when 1.7 came I thanked the devs for treating us like adults again. But overall, very big update, I just wasnt the target audience at all.

8th - Version 1.7, Blue Tears Season. 💧

That season was quite solid, but compared to the other ones it might have been the weakest. Here me out. Blue Tears season introduced a lot of exciting things, first of all, the entire Breezy Meadows were covered by ghostly figures, which was quite interesting and creepy. The entire camp area of Wishfield which was absolutely abandoned and boring at first changed a lot and I loved the decorations there, with the giant tree and seesaw by the lake, but also that weird magic shape and all the souls everywhere. But what amazed me the most was that one wooded door, finally opening. Back in 1.0 I always wondered what was behind, kinda like the Outpost gates, I couldn’t wait to finally enter it and behind it lied the Serpentine Ruins. That was a very challenging dungeon, hiding a huge snake, Sith, and her tragic story. The lore was mature, dark and quite sad, yet for a « Blue Tear season » I somehow wished it was a little more emotionally heavy, because despite Sith and Alyssa, the rest was very forgettable. But I enjoyed this season nonetheless, not perfect, but not bad as well.

7th - Version 1.11, Encore Season. 🎲

I don’t have a whole lot to say about it, to be honest, that season was Wishfield’s Finale and I think it did it quite well. The scattered quests finalized and combined previous seasons and I loved how intertwined everything went. We came back to Queen’s Philomia castle and unraveled the final secret of these walls, Giovanni got his redemption arc, Dada was fantastic as always and I really, really liked how Nonoy and Nikki said goodbye, like real friends. I think that was touching and completed the story well. Buuuuut, can we talk about that board multiplayer game ? A shit show, I hated it. It was confusing, awfully too long and from my memory many players just gave up on it. As I did. But that aside it was a goodbye season, and what I liked the most was the Itzaland teaser, in the bar with the strange jar and Itzaland explorers. That’s what hyped me the most, and I just wanted this season to end to finally enter 2.0.

6th - Version 1.3: Eerie Season. 🌘

By the end of 1.2, when Infold dropped the teaser for 1.3, I was so hooked. A long list of forbidden things to do in the Castle, at night. It talked about strange figures, dark blings, creepy singers and talking cats…. Outside of Momo. I was expecting Infinity Nikki to become a horror game, and it wasn’t, but they delivered a memorable season anyway. I keep remember how slowly I walked towards the castle as the sky turned purple and ghosts appeared in the hallways, the sudden appearance of the little doll, the sealed sword, and Mister Strange, creating an Halloweenesque scenery until the Queen stepped on the stage and… legit tried killing Nikki ? With this we got another dimension where the challenge was hard but not too much, great side stories and a whole new dungeon to explore. It was a fantastic season and I’m glad it got an encore version in 1.11, well deserved !

5th - Version 1.10, Golden Season. 🔎

Or should I call it, backstracking season because oooooh booooy, Nikki transformed into a boomerang flying all over the Abandoned District with this season. But if you can’t remember, this season brang back the Sovereign of Sexy… killed and into pieces inside a suitcase. Yup. Pegi 18 stuff, cartel level. So basically Nikki and Momo had to investigate a murder, and even if we had to backtrack a LOT, I was very hooked to the story and was trying my best to find the murderer and was very surprised when at some point, we learned about a criminal organization taking place in Cicia, trying to create a miracle outfit to grant wishes. That was amazing and reminded me of my beloved 1.0 intro, that Miracle Outfits were important (crying in 2.0). I also loved the autumn aesthetic there, with the golden wheat everywhere, orange decorations everywhere, it was beautiful, and I feel like this season could also be a teaser for when we will finally head to Cicia. Hopefully.

4th - Version 1.9, Music Season. 🎻

The update sooooo many people awaited, housing finally got introduced after being foreshadowed for literally months. And with it, an exquisite and twisted story about a music troupe, long dead due to an accident, and brought back to life by a mad owner using dark essence to turn his team into puppets. That was so creepy and so dark that I loved it dearly, as you might have guessed it already I’m totally into horror stories and even if it wasn’t Stephen King leveled, I still found it haunting. But what pleased me the most was of course the housing system, I’m totally into it and even if it was extremely hard to get used to everything it had to offer, I finally managed to make it, and built not one, not two, but 6 houses, before nuking them all and building my InfiniGallery out of them, I loved this season so much even if the side activities in Florawish were meh.

3rd - Version 1.2, Firework Season. 🎆

This season was obese. What I mean by that, packed with so many things, so many it was awesome. First, the Linlang music group arrived and Wishfield was decorated with Linlang inspired activities and fireworks, it was really cool looking and I can’t say how many times I got jumpscared by stepping into the little fireworks on the ground. I really loved how we toured the city to the lady (forgot her name sorry 🥹) and how she thanked us with a cool song and dreamy cinematic. But that didn’t end there. We also got introduced to our first ever « outer island », Firework Isles which was fine but maybe too overcrowded by Esselings and gosh, that 4* ability outfit was so freaking disappointing to me, despite that Marques Junior and… huh… NPC girl no3924 (also forgot her name 🫩) took us to a roleplay tour across the entire island and not gonna lie, I wasn’t the target audience for this story, like I barely remember everything and it was one of the few season I just spammed the dialogs without reading, but the scenery was amazing, especially the parkour across the hot air balloons in the sky, the Zelda-esque puzzle with every caves on the island, and just the good vibes this season had to offert. Very, very solid season.

2nd - Version 1.8, Danqing Season. 🐉

This is season was peak cinema, absolutely awesome in so many ways. Nikki crossing a strange painting in Sea of Stars and awakening as artist Nikki into this strange new world. I immediately fell in love with this world, and I’m not into the Linlang aesthetic but gosh, that was so pretty. The sea all around, the huge mountains, quiet fields, serene lake and beautiful market area, and people, vanishing in the rain… that was absolutely horrific when that poor little girl… you know, I won’t say anything if some of you never went there yet but woah, it took me by surprise. And if Danqing Island wasn’t enough, it came with a whole parallel world, the Danqing Realm, and till this day, 2.8, no other places captured the feeling of this realm for me. The lonely, alien and otherworldly nature of this area left me speechless the first time I ventured into it. The story was… confusing, don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it but I don’t know, something felt off about Nikki’s role, I can’t quite explain it, but this season was so impressive it felt like a dream. And for the first time in this game, I cried. Why ? Go back to your backpack, and read again the letters from the inhabitants of Inksville. It deeply touched me and made me emotional, and this is the reason why I placed it so high in this rankings.

And the number 1 go tooooooo….

1st - Version 1.0, Exploration Season 🏔️

The gateway to Miraland, where everything started for me. The first time I’ve seen Infinity Nikki I was like « Okay, it looks fun, Barbie but Zelda-ish. » then I completely forgot about it. Until someday, I was scrolling through the PS store and noticed the game came out the same day, so without any excitement, because I never played gacha games, I downloaded it telling myself that I would delete it in an hour or so and move on. And from the beginning with the old intro, Ena, the Threads of Reunion, the Old styling guild and the music near the entrance, I felt like this game was so much more than I expected. Still debating if it was a game for me or not, I went into Florawish and started collecting Whimstars, dews, getting used to the Floating ability and Purification outfit, and I felt so fresh.. yet I was still confused, so I stopped playing for some hours, and game back after, only to fall in love with the aesthetic and story. But my sweetest memory, what made me tell myself « Okay, this is my new game now » was when I randomly explored a forest, and fell face to face with Stoneville and it’s lavender fields.. by that time it wasn’t even shown on the map, I found by accident and just stopped playing, on the bridge facing the lavender fields and the giant stone trees, without knowing that this awe feeling wouldn’t be unique, because I experienced it again the first time I arrived in the Abandoned District, and then in the Wishing Woods, and even today I feel it when I enter to a new place such as Heaven’s Reach recently. This season introduced me to the game, and in three months, it will make 2 years since I first played this game and fell in love with it. So yeah, for me, for being my first experience with the game, 1.0 was the best season of the entire 1.X era.

🖤🤍🖤🤍

And that’s it, every 12 seasons ranked ! I have absolutely no idea if people made it to the end or if some of you will just type TLDR, or if I will be ignored to ashes but that’s alright, I had fun making it and I would be very happy to have your personal rankings as well, read what you enjoyed or hated about every seasons, what was your first season and experience with the game.
Depending on if people liked that or not I will probably rank the 2.X seasons too when we will reach 3.0, I don’t know, we’ll see ! But if you made it this far, I hope you have a great time in the game, in your life, have fun and drink water ! 🪷

What does a nomad’s life is like ?

Hello, I’ve got a lot of questions regarding the lore but this one is living in my head rent free since quite some time.

Since vampires do look very different from humans and aren’t even allowed to expose themselves in the sun, I was wondering what were their daily life like ?
Like for exemple I remember Victoria in Eclipse has a pretty cool looking black ring, but I was like «Did she casually enter a shop and waited in line to the cashier among humans ? Nobody noticed her glowing red eyes ? » it left me very confused, since non vegetarian vampires only drink human blood, how can they interact with our modern world without just killing everyone ?

As I said I have multiple questions, maybe I’ll just make a long post with all of them next

Summer photoshoot 🌺

Just having fun with my twins and Momo, also the Everbloom Garden is sooo photogenic I just fell in love with that place 🌻

Also, this is summer, it’s getting hot quite everywhere, so if you’re reading this, please be careful, drink enough water and pay attention to your surroundings. My country is currently under massive fires so even if summer is great, it can be dangerous. Take care 💐

You can see Heaven’s Reach from Spira’s Domeshell !

Quite a useless information but I was searching for some missed chests in Itzaland when I came upon this. I thought Heaven’s Reach was only seen in the Boneyard but not at all, you can also see it there. That’s quite a nice touch in my opinion, it makes Willheim’s dialogues relevant when she said that you couldn’t see it from Elderwood Forest because it was hidden by the mountains but you can see it above Spira !

Anyway, I’m super excited for 2.8 ! ✨

Reached level 30, I loved this pass ! 🧡🤎

My sister and I both played this event and loved it a lot, even if at level 29 I was so impatient to unlock the Lvl30 items that I spent some gems, but no regrets.

Do you think we’ll get another pass right after this one ? If so, what would you love the themed ingredient to be ? Personally it would be pistachios. Such as pistachio syrup, purée and grilled pistachios as topping, and as decors I would love some sort of antic Greek decorations. I know pistachios aren’t really Greek but I just love this aesthetic 💚
