Any Alaska Cruise for Solo Traveler?

I’m planning my first Alaska cruise as a solo traveler and looking for recommendations. Which cruise line is best for meeting people and having a good overall experience? Also, do solo travelers ever share cabins to save on costs, and if so, where do people find trustworthy roommates? Are there any online groups or forums for like-minded solo travelers interested in Alaska cruises? I'd appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks! 🚢🏔️

M42

42M, 5.7 US citizen, well-established, fit, and health-conscious. I work as a Senior Technology Lead and have the flexibility of being fully remote. I enjoy travel, good food, meaningful conversations, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Life has taught me the value of kindness, respect, and genuine connections. I'm currently going through a separation and looking forward to the next chapter of life with a positive outlook.
I come from a South Indian background, but I value kindness, compatibility, and mutual respect above all else. I'm open to connecting with someone from any region, culture, or faith. I understand Hindi fairly well, although I'm not very fluent in speaking it. That said, language is never a barrier when there is mutual understanding and respect.

I have shared custody of my children, who are an important part of my life, and I deeply value family relationships.
What I'm Looking For
I'm open to meeting someone from the U.S. or anywhere in the world. If you have children, that's absolutely fine—I understand the joys and responsibilities of parenthood.
I'm looking for someone who is educated, respectful, emotionally mature, and kind-hearted. I'm not in a rush and believe the best relationships are built on friendship, trust, shared values, and genuine companionship.
Let's take things slow, get to know each other naturally, and see where life takes us.

Looking for hostel with a private room, reliable Wi‑Fi

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a hostel that offers private/separate rooms with good Wi‑Fi, as I'll need to work during Eastern Time hours and don't want to disturb other guests.
Ideally, I'd like a place near the beach so I can relax and enjoy the area when I'm not working. Clean and quiet
Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks! 😊
