I make watches and wanted to make something cool for my buddies birthday.
Found a supplier of reclaimed wood from Lambeau and made the dial from it. Go Pack Go!
My buddy is a big Packers fan so for his birthday I wanted to make him a watch. Green and yellow seemed a bit boring and uninspired so I found someone with wood from Lambeau Field (see last slide) and I turned it into a dial.
Lots of trial and error considering any “how-to” called for wood veneer and didn’t start with a block of wood. After 4 attempts I figured out the process and it turned out pretty good.

I used a 1999 base set Charizard card for the dial. Gold date window and hands,orange and black date wheel, gold finished case with real carbon fiber bezel and rubber strap.
