Just wondering when the worldwide die off is over and it would be safe to purchase plants from a nursery ? Or any reputable sources of real black bamboo seeds? TIA
So I like to order a lot of things from Home Depot that are bulky - I am an older lady so it's hard for me to load it in and out of the car, so like mulch, bales of peat moss, topsoil stuff like that . It's always irritated me that so many of the products are billed as "free delivery" but delivery is NOT free for the quantities that I want, its $35. I decided to play around with it and figured out that I can get six bags of mulch delivered free but seven or more entails a $35 fee. However there is absolutely nothing preventing me from ordering six bags of mulch many many times in a row . I am literally having a parade of delivery drivers dropping off the orders this is great!
SE VA zone 8b. Had a particularly cold winter, several nights in the low 20s, my Alphonse karr got a lot of die back this year. Is coming back strong but noticing that a lot of the new growth is variegated , which I'm very happy about! Just wondering if this is normal and if it will stay growing varigated?
