Seeking Advice from Previous UP Manual Appeal Passers (UPG: 2.665)

Hi! I'm hoping to hear from those who were successful in the UP manual appeal process in previous years.

My UPG is 2.665, and I've already submitted manual appeals to UP Cebu, UP Tacloban, UP Visayas, UP Los Baños, and UP Baguio. I understand that admissions vary every year depending on the number of available slots, applicants, and each campus's policies, so I'm not asking anyone to predict my chances or tell me which campus I should have chosen.

I'm simply hoping to learn from those who have gone through the manual appeal process.

If you were a successful manual appeal passer, would you mind sharing:

  • Which campus did you appeal to?
  • What was your UPG (if you're comfortable sharing)?
  • What degree program did you apply for?
  • Do you have any tips or anything you wish you had known before submitting your appeal?

Please be kind. My family isn't in a financial position to afford private school, so UP is honestly our biggest hope. I'm sure there are many applicants in the same situation, so I hope this thread can also help others who are currently waiting for their results.

Thank you so much to anyone willing to share their experience. Wishing everyone the best of luck with their appeals. 🤍

Seeking Advice on UP Manual Appeal (UPG: 2.665)

Hi! I'm planning to submit a manual appeal to UP and would really appreciate hearing from those who were successful.

My UPG is 2.665, and I'm trying to decide which campus would be the most practical option to appeal to based on previous years' experiences. I know that admissions vary every year, so I'm not asking anyone to predict my results. I'm simply hoping to learn from those who have gone through the manual appeal process.

If you were a successful manual appeal passer, could you share:

  • Which campus did you appeal to?
  • What was your UPG (if you're comfortable sharing)?
  • Do you have any tips or things you wish you had known before applying?

Please be kind. My family isn't in a financial position to afford private school, so UP is honestly our biggest hope. Thank you so much to anyone willing to share their experience. 🤍

Passed UST Pharmacy but waiting for a UPB manual appeal - need advice

I passed UST Pharmacy, but I'm also waiting for the result of my manual appeal to UPLB because I recently realized that I don't really like the program UPLB initially offered me, even though it's considered a good pre-law course.

For context, we come from a family with a decent income, so finances are definitely something I have to consider. I'm also having a hard time accepting the UP offer because if I decide to shift programs next year, I'm worried that I might get delayed.
