Recommendations for standing desk converter?

Preface to say that I’ve researched this topic, but I see lots of mixed reviews on products.

Do any of you have a standing desk converter that you really like and lasts a few years? My current desk is the perfect height for sitting (and it’s non-adjustable), so I’d love a converter that sits pretty flat, around the height of the current desk, and is easy to move up and down.

Once I get it, I plan to pair it with a walking pad

Please share the link/where you got the product. I’m in the southeast US for reference

How do people in their early 20s afford kids?

I’m not in this position, I’m just genuinely curious. I’ve observed a lot of people getting married early and having kids, and with the cost of birth and childcare, how does this age group actually afford to have children?

How do you move your body during the work day?

I work 9 hours a day in my living room. I take walks before work and go to the gym after, but I’m curious about what yall do to move your bodies during the work day. I’m saving up for a standing desk and walking pad, but until then I’d love some ideas!

Where does everyone volunteer?

I know I can do a Google search, but I’ve tried volunteering with Family room and BBBS and haven’t had much luck with either of them. Backpack beginnings doesn’t have a lot of opportunities for 9-5 workers. Do yall have any volunteer recommendations in GSO/HP? I’m not interested in working with animal shelters since I have allergies

Edit to add that I’m also trying to avoid volunteer opportunities that are affiliated with religion
