Talked with one less educated Filipino and he thought European literally get free money from the govt every month, like a universal basic income, and that flight ticket is probably near free for us and other people think prices in Europe are probably same or cheaper than Philippines.

That's why one guy called me greedy and called me "greedy American" when i woudn't give him money on the street.

Im pretty sure they think most Europeans or US don't even have to work or earn since the govt will just give them unlimited money glitch and ask me for more.

The barber got super mad at me for giving him a 100 pesos tip "Only" when its a third of his wage

Meanwhile prices due to oil are getting closer in Manila to some smaller Eastern European cities when the food is clean etc.

EDIT: Now this applies only to less educated ones, i met plenty of very smart, well traveled rich Filipinos

I wanna buy a nice condo or at least a condo in Manila just for sake of owning it, but I don't feel they are worth more than 1-2M, is it possible to get one for scrap change or are they just better renting due to HOA fees and other fees / problems with condo

Like just having it as a base I can return to and enjoy life
