Theres a random preset template!
You can finally start projects with different sounds. This is huge. It’s one of the most fun parts of the Move, and now it’s on the XY!
I ran into this by accident. Hold shift + project, scroll to template, choose “random presets”
Sat down to test it for five minutes and looked up an hour later with a fun little track.
Currently feeling devastated. My OPXY glitched out mid set and is now unresponsive.
Was connected to USB for MIDI (charge off), with audio out and CV out. Suddenly the screen went black. LEDs still on, but key input did nothing. Power cycling did nothing.
Seems like other users have encountered this, and I was optimistic that letting the battery die might get me back on track.
Now the battery is drained, but the unit is completely bricked. Won’t charge, won’t turn on, won’t connect to a computer, won’t boot at all.
I bought this secondhand, so even though it’s only a few months old, I’m likely dealing with an RMA situation. I am really nervous that I’m going to lose everything on here, and that a repair/replacement will be long and pricey.
Any encouraging words of optimism, either to get this unit up and running or the RMA experience would be so nice to hear. Or just real talk, because sometimes that helps too.
