I was talking about this with a friend who runs a retro game shop the other day. He feels like in general, prices for master system games seem to be on the rise. I’m not too sure though. At least in New Zealand where I live, prices for sms games seemed to be at their highest around 2020 when covid hit, and seem to have roughly been steady or going down a bit since then. That would make sense to me, because I guess the target market are already adults, and though some younger people will be interested, there will never be as much demand as for more mainstream consoles like Genesis, nes, snes, ps1 etc

What are your thoughts?

Damn this game is fun! Yes maybe it’s not quite as good as the Genesis port, but it’s still very playable

Hi all! I got gifted this famiclone a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by the video quality, so thought I would try this clone fc-ed-n8 from AliExpress. I tried it out, but all I get is a black screen. I tried reaching out to the seller, but they told me that it’s only fully reliable with original hardware. Should I try one of the various firmwares for ed fc n8 clones from AliExpress? I saw that many of the same people who bought this product use it on clone consoles.

Hi all, as a preface, I enjoy original hardware but am not 100% committed to it. My friend has gifted me this subor famiclone (still in the post) and I want to make the most of it. I have owned an original nes (front loader) before along with an everdrive, and though I enjoyed the games, I would be lying if I said the video quality (composite on a standard definition crt) didn’t bother me. I’m not sure if it was just this console, but the dot crawl was pretty extreme. Has anyone tried an everdrive on one of these famiclones? How is the video quality?

As I have been spoiled by component video (love you Sega Genesis) maybe I should just wait to save up for a mister fpga
