Chickpea and I moved into a new apartment last week. He's doing so good, and is very happy he gets to sleep in bed with me now that we aren't living with someone else anymore. I work nights, so I had to keep the bedroom door closed for noise reduction at the last place. Not here. He cuddles so sweet all night

I was always a dog person. This guy is ruining me 🤣🤣

I love him more than I can handle

I'd like to harness train my rescued stray, Chickpea. He's a little guy, only about 9 pounds. And is such a sweetheart.

I think it'd be good enrichment for him. I'm just a bit overwhelmed with the variety of cat harnesses. I just want to make sure he's physically comfortable, so he can focus more on sniffing and exploring. And as secure as possible of course (I don't think any will be escape proof obviously.... cats are practically made of liquid lol).

I'm sure this gets asked a lot, but if anybody would be willing to share their favorite harness and why, I'd really appreciate it.

This little guy had a rough life before I managed to get him.... so I just want to make sure the rest of it is as good as possible. Dude deserves all the fun.

Buddy.... I love and appreciate the cuddles. But it's been like 5 hours and I need the bathroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

But on a positive note, I signed the lease for our new apartment and will be moving late June. The windowsills are nice and big, so Chickpea will have some awesome sitting/sunbathing spots.

It's cool, Chickpea. Half of my body has fallen asleep. But so long as you're comfortable 😂

I'm considering getting pet insurance for Chickpea. I feel like it'd help take some of the pressure off if anything serious ever goes on.

It's just a time trying to pick one. There are so many lol 😵‍💫

This little one showed up on our street about 6 months ago. He was so scared outside.... all through the winter. Snow, rain, sleet, and -25ºF. It took so long to get his trust. But it was worth it. I got him inside about 2 weeks ago. And he is the sweetest, craziest boy. Nobody has posted about losing him anywhere. Nobody responded to my posts about finding him.

He had an appointment with the vet today. He was already neutered. But no microchip. And since it's been long enough..... they chipped him for me. He's FeLV/FIV negative. 1-2 years old. Healthy (other than ear mites, but they gave revolution).

Chickpea is my cat, and I couldn't be happier. Hope he's ready for a life of spoiling.

Chickpea is officially my cat now! He had his vet appointment. There was no chip. Nobody had responded to reports of him being found, and no information could be found of him being reported lost.

He was already neutered, he's FeLV/FIV negative, 1-2 years old, in good shape, got his shots, some other tests, and revolution. And is now microchipped with his new momma's information.

The vet said he let them do everything, including check his paws and mouth, without any real fuss. So he did very good.

I'm over the moon 💕
