I was using My pc and when I finished I closed my browser and noticed my wallpaper, at first I thought they were birds migrating but I was like that’s a bit excessive so I look closer and they damn sure aren’t birds migrating, can anyone tell me what it is?
I bought a 2011 Nissan Sentra used on marketplace and the one thing the owner said was the transmission oil pressure switch needed to be replaced. I couldn’t find the exact switch and when I called Nissan dealership they said there’s no oil pressure switch on this car so I called a mechanic and he said the same thing, He even did a scan and nothing came up that was urgent. I started driving as is, short distances only and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, just seemed like a beater that has its cosmetic quirks. The car was sitting for a couple months due to me moving and I recently started driving it again for work (2 weeks ago), first couple days everything seemed fine, my work distance is about 40 mins a majority of it on the highway, after a few days I came to a red light and I pressed the accelerator, I didn’t get a response so I pressed it a bit harder and the car had a very delayed response I’d say about 5 seconds, sometimes it would happen sometimes it wouldn’t. Which brings me to today, I was driving home from work, I took a different route and this route was very steep uphill. I came to a stop at a red light uphill and when the light turned green and I tried to go, there was completely no response. the car was just crawling, I had to turn on to the next street and when I did it started driving sort of normally i tried getting back to the way I had to go but all the ways were uphill, the car would just crawl when I pressed the accelerator, until I got to a flat road or downhill. Thankfully I made it home and obviously wont keep driving it but could someone let me know if the car is saveable or junk at this point
TLDR:
My car lags when I press the gas after a full stop and car can’t drive uphill at all
