rest + 10 min swim
5 mi 1000 ft elevation + 10 min swim
5 mi 1000 ft elevation + 10 min swim
4 mi flat + 10 min swim

how should i move up from here? should i maintain for a bit?

  • the Step 2 CK SEM is approximately 6 points, meaning that if someone’s true proficiency were centered around 280, about two-thirds of repeated scores would fall near 274–286.

  • scoring 280 would be about 2.4 times more likely than scoring 272 and 35 times more likely than scoring 264.

  • these are statistical ranges, not predictions that every value is equally likely.

  • scores closer to 280 remain more likely, and the SEM does not create a 32-point band in which every score is basically luck.
