I’m not here to berate the team or be negative in any way I just want someone to help me understand. We’re meant to be one of the best clearance teams in the competition. I just don’t understand how we lose clearances to teams like richmond and essendon who are pretty piss poor in that aspect. I’m just trying to understand that’s all. Because yesterday we didnt lose but it felt we were smashed. I’m also well aware we smashed west coast’s midfield last week and was superior to the giants a week before. This was under vossy as well.

How did we all go, genuinely felt like that was never going to end.

Im going to give the benefit of the doubt because even good team have bad halves. This is probably our first adversity under fraser. We need to come out smashing them in the second half or just sack off the rest of the season at this point.

I had a chat with a friend who thought our midfield was mid ladder. These past couple weeks I’ve felt that the group has lifted a lot and has heavily contributed to our uptick in form. Where do you think Pitto, Cripps, Walsh, Jagga, Hewett rank in the comp. I’m trying my best to not be too biased and in terms of club wise and recency bias. But I think Freo is better than ours but not by a lot with Jackson, Serong, Brayshaw, Young and Reid. Swans are better with Grundy, Heeney, Chad, McInerney, Rowbottom. Dogs with English, Bont, Richards, Sanders, Libba, Freijah. Which I think places us 4th.

Brisbane probably should be there but I always thought the midfield was a bit one paced. Draper, Neale, Washcroft, Dunkley, Clugg are all elite but maybe it’s my delusion.

Suns are also another shout with Witts, Trac, Anderson, Rowell, Miller but I’ve not been impressed with them eventhough theoretically that should be perfect

Geelong are also pretty near us with Edwards, Baz, Holmes, Atkins, Mullin, Bruhn.

I think the rest of the comp are behind these sets of midfield. With GWS, Melbourne, North in the following group.
