Finishing question

I recently did a class at Woodcraft where we learned how to make cutting boards. Really happy with how it came out. They had us use Real Milk Paint half n half to finish and said that should be good. Really just did one nice generous coat. Do you guys recommend using something additional after that?

Building daughters dollhouse advice needed

Wondering how all of you experienced woodworkers out there would do these kinds of cuts - it’s for the front panel of a dollhouse for my daughter - I ended up doing the drill / jigsaw and am not super pumped with the lack of precision and tear out - wood for these front panels per plans is 1/4 inch plywood - got from Home Depot - so it’s thin, and these cuts are fairly small so no way to use a plunge track saw. Tried the plunge router with not much success so just stuck with jigsaw. Any help appreciated ! Part of the plans page linked so you can see the sizes.
