ADA compliant things to do outdoors

Hi all,

I have a quadraplegic adult brother that uses a power wheelchair. It's bulky and difficult to navigate in tight spaces and not great off paved paths. I'm looking for ideas and places to take him and spend some time outside before winter sets in. Thanks

Dandy experience

Just looking to get some feedback. Our group practice switched to Dandy over the summer. I was hesitant at first, but have been impressed with it so far. Now I'm seeing posts about teeth falling out of dentures and other issues after the honeymoon phase. Can anyone speak to this?

Go eat worms

We sing a lot in our house. Today a childhood song popped into my head "Nobody likes, me everybody hates me. Guess I'll go eat worms" Anyone else remember singing this song? I can't imagine teaching my kid to sing that everybody hates him at a young age. My 14 yo said "Why did you guys sing that?" I said "I don't know. I guess because that's how we felt." My husband responded with one word, "trauma". He's probably right, so I added on "But it sure made us funnier. "

Anyway, I've moved on to Bert and Ernie's "Rubber Ducky" song. Stay funny ✌️

Dental student shadowing

It's 9 PM on Sunday and I just remembered I have a pre-dental student starting to shadow me tomorrow. She will be with me through the summer. She's a long time patient and eager to learn and specifically wants to get hands on training. I respect it because I started as a no experience dental assistant, but that was 2010. Where should I start with her? What basics to give her an edge on her applications and in school?
