My recent experience on a DXB to Washington Dulles flight

I want to clarify that I’ve had positive experiences with Emirates in the past, and this particular incident is more relevant to fellow travelers. I’d still fly Emirates 10 out of ten times.

Moving on.

I took a Dubai to Washington DC Emirates flight yesterday. I really felt a deep sense of envy for those who could fly business class. The scenes, man, the scenes. It was like cattle herding. Pure chaos. People not respecting their zone assignments. I mean, we all were literally going to the SAME destination. Everyone had a seat assigned. Unfortunately, this doesn’t help, but I am certain 98% of those travelers were taking a connecting flight from India. I don’t even wanna go into details about my 14+ hours experience inside the flight. I’m genuinely shook man and I freaking need to unwind this whole experience in a therapy session because I genuinely don’t want to have any residual feelings for anyone. We all were traveling together, sharing a space, sharing experiences and expecting basic courtesy towards each other, basic common sense and basic social etiquette. Dude, why would someone discard a used diaper on the floor? Trash on the floor doesn’t magically disappear. Some poor sucker is gonna have to clean it up. Emirates better give these flight attendant ladies some bonuses if they are manning these type of flights all the time. If it was possible, I bet some of these lavatories would genuinely flood the way there (ab)used. They got man-handled!

There were quite MORE (unpleasant) observations and I am just gonna leave those details out because I want to relay a point without coming off an ignorant.

Please be mindful. I apologize in advance if I have offended anyone’s feelings.
