Bacon Slime

Just opened. Expiration date is more than a month out and I’ve had it refrigerated since bringing it home. What is this slime all about? Is this normal or has it gone bad?

Edit:
Fck it, I’m tossing it. It is unacceptable to eat bacon that makes you nervous.

Missed Opportunity [spoilers]

Their “courting” was so brief (two episodes?) but their dynamic is so amusing and their eventual relationship is one of the best in the show — they could have stretched that period out for half a season and it would have been *delicious *.

Rollo may have cared for Siggy but their relationship was burdened by the fact that both of them are full of shame, with their minds permanently in the past, desiring something neither can give the other. Out from under Ragnar’s shadow, we get to see who Rollo really is. How he is with a woman who doesn’t know Ragnar. The choices he makes when not taking Ragnar’s orders, performing for their peers, or shamed by past mistakes.

Turns out he’s an incredibly charming and funny lover. He’s not just violent and envious, he’s also clever and eager. Rollo and Gisla’s brief courting period was great writing that turned Rollo into a multidimensional character… I wish we could have indulged in it for longer.

Any apps for learning (non-magic) runes?

Looking for a iOS friendly app for learning how to read and write runes. Most runes-related applications are for modern divination practices, or learning individual runes through the lens of modern mysticism. Everything else appears to be very poorly rated or limited in scope (like learning the names of the runes or just a fuþark keyboard).

I’m aware of the recommended non-app resources. But if you have any suggestions for apps you found helpful, I’d appreciate it.

What other job titles to search

Sorry if this is so basic. I have a master’s in UX but not getting any leads and feeling like I made a huge life mistake. What are some other job titles that would hire for junior positions (that aren’t graphic design)? They don’t even have to be UX jobs, they can be anything as long as hiring managers see UX as relevant & qualifying. Would be willing to step into a different field as long as there’s work there where my skills are relevant and valuable.

I’ve been searching for UX designer, UI designer, UX researcher (plus any combination of the three), and product designer.

I don’t think I can have what I want

Every moment, I get to decide what my gender is. But in my dreams, I wake up every morning and choose my SEX every day to align with my gender.

My swings from gender to gender historically last for years at a time and have been happening since I was a child, much too young to understand. Well, I’m have my first major swing for probably the first time in a decade to male (I’m afab and present that way for almost my entire adult life), and it’s really uncomfortable. I’m fantasizing about it daily but I also know I can’t really do anything significant to make it feel better, other than dress differently, because a year or two from now, I might swing hard in the other direction again. I also like but don’t love androgyny (and don’t pull it off very well). When I swing I tend to land pretty far into one side or other of the binary.

Even dressing differently doesn’t feel that good because it‘s just a reminder that my body isn’t suited for men’s clothes and it emphasizes the discrepancy.

Any advice?

ITAW for Pedantic + Troll

Is there a word that describes someone that is both pedantic and a troll (gets off on being or appearing smarter than others AND using this to intentionally piss people off).

Other than Redditor of course. Ideally looking for a formal word but would probably enjoy colloquialisms as well.

Chest soreness after lat pull downs?

After back day my pecs are sore but my back is not? I suspect it was lat pulldown but I also did rows with a close grip, chest supported wide rows, and rear flys for mid taps and rear delts on pec deck

For context I’m a woman and usually fail in my hands, biceps, and/or forearms before failing in my back. Idk if this would cause any weird compensation where my pecs somehow take over?
