LOIs were sent to off-campus candidates in January 2026, while on-campus candidates received theirs in October–November 2025. After making us wait for 8++ months, you finally sent a timeline email in August, and since then, there has been no update. NOTHING!

I just want to ask you, Mr. CEO and Cognizant people: If you don't have projects, why the hell do you hire people and send them LOIs, only to make them wait for years? Is this how you treat freshers? Is this what you call Cognizant culture?

Seriously, do you not know which month comes first and which comes later? Which batch is earlier and which is later? Is there something wrong with your database? Hire a good database expert and get your system corrected instead of playing with freshers' lives.

We are not asking for special treatment. We are just asking for clarity and timely communication. This is a crucial phase of our lives, especially in the current IT job market. We have already waited for months, and this uncertainty is affecting our careers.

Cognizant, please stop playing with freshers' careers. If you cannot onboard us anytime soon, at least have the decency to communicate clearly instead of keeping us waiting endlessly after issuing LOIs.

Anybody waiting for OL? What's the next step we can take now?

I am waiting for cognizant OL ( September to december timeline person)... I have some issues regarding BGV, Can anyone please help me to resolve my queries...

1. in superset I mistakenly put my father name as " VISHWANATH GOWDA"

but in all other documents it is "VISHWANATH M GOWDARU PATIL"

All documents has perfect name..

My name in all documents is perfect... (APOORVA V PATIL)

So for father name change in superset vs all documents is affidavit is fine...... Because no need to change my father name rather than cognizant DB..

2. Address issue,, we are from village so we don't have door number street number names etc... We just have village name & post & taluk name....

In superset I put Bennuru P:Bennuru but in my documents it is Bennuru P:Bennur.... ( U is not there in documents for post name) . Will cognizant compare superset address with current documents address?

If the street no, door number is mandatory, if we don't have what to put in that field...

3. I am a change of branch student,.. Same college... In 1st & 2nd sem marks card I have different USN, after changing branch in 3rd semester I have different new branch USN.... Is this cause any issue?

Only remarks regarding change of branch is fine?

Because I don't have any documents of that branch change,...

(All my details regarding Change of branch was updated with university database.... )

4. rounding up percentage cause any issue with superset vs marks card...

I have 93.76 in 10th I put 94 round up percentage in superset

I have 91.2 in 12th I put 91 round up percentage in superset

I have 8.76 CGPA I put 8.8 round up CGPA in superset

I didn't received OL yet,.. Will get in September to December timeline,....

CTS BGV

I received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Cognizant in January 2026. Since then, I have completed all the required steps, including the pre-learning course and CIS survey.

It has now been more than 5 months, and I have not received an Offer Letter, onboarding date, or any clear update regarding my hiring status. I have sent multiple emails to the recruitment team but have received little to no response.

I understand that business requirements can change, but keeping candidates waiting for months without a clear timeline or closure is unfair. If a company is unable to onboard candidates, it should communicate that transparently instead of leaving them in uncertainty.

Are there other candidates facing the same issue with Cognizant's 2026 hiring process? What steps did you take, and did you eventually receive your Offer Letter or joining date?
