About once a month for the last year or so, I send a next day air shipment from San Diego to Louisville. Usually there have been absolutely no issues: I drop the package off, and wake up the next morning with confirmation that the recipient got the package.

Yesterday, I went to my local UPS store (as usual) to get my package shipped and sent. I dropped it off at around 2:30pm, well before the 5pm cutoff. However, at around 6pm I noticed my package still only had “label printed” as a tracking update, so I called the UPS store to ask about that and they said the driver hadn’t arrived yet / was late.

eventually at 6:30pm, i got the update that the package was picked up. great! but that’s the only update that has happened since and i am very nervous and concerned.

i called both the ups store and ups themselves and pretty much everyone is telling me to just wait. i do not understand what is going on, how could the most recent scan be that it was picked up? im sure the UPS truck had to go somewhere eventually, shouldn’t it have an arrival scan at least?

my only theory is that, because the driver was late, the package missed the window to be processed for shipment that same night so maybe the package has been set aside for tonight’s cycle? but i genuinely dont know. i am getting very anxious because this is a really important package sentimental wise and im hoping it’s not lost and is just waiting to be processed today. but what time would that even happen?

Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well. I am currently searching for a comic con cat to get for someone special as a gift. I understand how expensive these get, so I’m planning to save for one, but I also want to make sure I’m actually looking at authentic ones and from reputable sellers. I’ve seen a couple of these sellers mentioned on this subreddit which does not inspire confidence but I figured i’d ask… i’m not sure if these posts are allowed but i would just like help knowing if these are scams or not please.

there are 3 different listings im looking at, from 3 different sellers. in order to follow the rules here i censored their usernames but if you want to check for yourself it’s pretty easy to just look the comic con cat on ebay and find them there! for your convenience, i labeled each photo to correspond to sellers 1, 2, and 3.

i’ve reached out to all 3, and only 2 have responded. i’ve repeatedly asked Seller 1 for more photos and they ignore my requests, only just responding to the other parts of my messages. Seller 2 has been pretty responsive and is explaining to me the story of how they got the figure in the first place. Seller 3 has yet to respond to me.

i think the items in the photos are legitimate, but its the sellers im unsure of. i’ve seen seller 1 mentioned here, as well as someone with a username similar to seller 3 but with an extra letter “p” at the end. seller 2 doesn’t seem to be mentioned here already, but upon looking at their feedback its actually basically all buyer feedback

this is an expensive item and even though ebay has money back guarantee (and paypal has even more protection), i just want to avoid the trouble if i can. so please let me know what you all think
