I know some of you are thinking

Why Sonic merch have to do with Surge's character arc?

well simple it'll drive her insanity of her hatred and jealousy of him, the one things I notice In the comics that how much the background characters love Sonic, with one of them wanted his autograph to Soleil watching the ' Sonic spoters videos ' sooner or later the background characters will start making their own Sonic merch, just like fans in real life, if Surge sees this Sonic merch everywhere it'll drive her crazy ,

She already have unhealthy hatred for the blue guy the last thing she wants to see his face on everything, she got mad that one little kid compare her to Sonic, it cause her get really tick off , if someone praises Sonic over her sets her off , then imagine what the merch can do.

I think the merch will play a role into Surge's character if the writers goes with this direction, so far we haven't seen any Sonic merch I wonder if there's license issues if is okay to put Sonic merch in the comics?

It'll be good for story telling for a character who has deep hatred for someone they can't stand.

So what you guys think about this idea for Surges character?
