Account Under Review / Unapproved Annotator Status
Hey everyone,
I logged in today and was greeted by this lovely "Account Under Review / Unapproved Annotator Status" screen. It says my account is temporarily restricted and under review by the quality control team for potential quality issues.

A few questions for anyone who has dealt with this before:
- Is this part of a mass sweep? Did a bunch of people get hit with this at the same time today, or did I just get unlucky?
- How long does the QC review actually take? The screen says to wait, but we all know platform support can take ages. Are we talking days or weeks?
- Is there a real chance of recovery? If you've successfully cleared this review and gotten your queue back, did you have to spam support/Slack, or did it resolve automatically?
I already sent a professional appeal email to support with my specific wfe-...@outlier.ai ID, but I'm trying to figure out if I should just write this off for the next few weeks or if there's hope for a quick fix.
Any insights or past experiences would be massively appreciated. Thanks!
