CAT 4 Cifas marker from Monzo saying my licence was fake. It's not

Monzo added a Cifas "false application / false documentation" marker for an account I applied for in Nov 2024 (got refused). They're saying my driving licence was forged or stolen, but it's my real one and I can prove it with a DVLA share code. The address was correct too.

Thing is, they only filed it in Sept 2026, same day I sent them a data request about a different account opened in my name back in May 2024 (not me, different DOB) as a result of identity fraud.

Already got a final response rejecting my complaint, and I've emailed again with proof the licence is real.
Anyone had one of these removed by proving the ID was genuine?

-Wait for Monzo or go straight to the FOS or via CIFAS?

-Should I be worried about my other bank accounts?

Emirates UK261 claim – silence after 7+ weeks. Did anyone actually get paid before going to AviationADR?

Hey everyone,

Looking for some quick insight/shared experiences from anyone who has gone through the UK261 compensation process with Emirates recently.

Long story short:

  • Had a severe delay on a flight out of the UK earlier this summer (arrived 4+ hours late at the final destination).
  • Submitted a formal UK261 compensation claim directly via the Emirates portal shortly after.
  • I have an official written delay certificate from them stating the disruption was due to "operational reasons".
  • It’s been well over 6 weeks now and absolute radio silence. I’ve followed up via their online system, but no actual response or update. Phone reps just confirm the claim is still "open" but say they can't touch claims directly.

I know the statutory window for the airline to respond is 8 weeks before you can escalate to ADR. My 8-week mark is coming up

A few questions for anyone who’s dealt with this:

  1. Did Emirates ever reply to you before the 8-week mark, or do they consistently drag it out to the very last minute / ignore you until ADR gets involved?
  2. Has anyone won via AviationADR using a delay certificate that says "operational reasons"? My understanding is that under Jet2 v Huzar, operational issues fall on the carrier, but I'm curious if they usually try to dispute that once ADR steps in
  3. Once you lodged the claim on ADR, how long did it actually take from filing to getting the payout?

Appreciate any experiences or advice from people who’ve had to push a claim through with them!
