Refinish Hardwood Before or After?

I will be refinishing hardwoods throughout the whole house....cabinets will arrive in about 2 weeks. Should we refinish floors before or after. I am thinking before, but my contractor says after, as they will get damaged in install. Thoughts?

Where to Put 15" Garbage Pullout?

I’m trying to figure out where to put a 15" garbage pullout in my small kitchen. I was hoping I could get rid of the Lazy Susan and put it in one of the corners, but it doesn’t seem possible, even if I go down to a 30" sink base. It seems like my only option is to put it to the left of the sink, but then I’d have to change my 24" drawers to a 12" or 15" cabinet. Would you do that or just put the garbage under the sink and keep the bigger drawers? I could also get a 33" fridge instead of 36" and put the garbage between the range and fridge, but that seems like kind of a weird spot.

Sorry, I know this is a lot! I need to order the cabinets ASAP and can’t decide.

Fabuwood Vs KraftMaid

Are they pretty much the same in quality and price? About to order Fabuwood, now wondering if I should also get pricing on KraftMaid....or not worth it, all the same? I know KraftMaid takes a while to get...in comparison to Fabuwood. Any thoughts?

Ivoritaj

As anyone who has tried to get it recently knows, MSI Ivoritaj is backordered with no real ETA. Has anyone found a good alternative? I looked at quartzite slabs, but they were more than double the price of quartz, and I was told marble would be even more. I thought the price gap between quartz and quartzite had narrowed, but apparently not...Any recommendations for something similar to Ivoritaj? So far, it’s the only quartz I’ve found that doesn’t look super fake to me. I’d prefer marble or quartzite, but unfortunately they’re out of my budget. Thanks!

Which Design (Cabinets on the Left)

Which design is best for my left end cabinets? They will be right next to French doors (kitchen opens to the dining room)...although #2 and #3 give me extra storage (much needed), I am leaning towards #1...just worried 2/3 will feel like too much in my tiny kitchen. Any thoughts?
