I'm looking for a scheduling software

Hey all,

I don't have a pool service company, but I do have an Aquarium service company and the overlap with recurring service visits is very similar. I have looked into the big software like housecall and jobber and didn't really like the way they dealt with recurring visits and they seemed more geared towards HVAC or plumbing where you go to a house maybe twice per year if you're lucky.

So I looked at a company called Skimmer and it looks close to what I would want since it's geared towards pool pros and recurring visits. Does anyone here use this? Do you like it? Anything I should look out for?

Mods I guess delete this if it's too off topic.

Quickbooks online payroll broken

Just tried to run payroll in QBO and I can't get to the payroll section. It keeps trying to load "mineral" which sounds like a third party platform that I want NOTHING to do with.

Since I can't pay my team I'm sure Intuit will be paying the penalties and providing a lawyer for me right? Or at least not charging me for payroll this month? This week? Prorated refund for a day? Lol fat chance.

Statements changed... Why?

I tried sending a customer a statement today and instead of the standard, time tested lines which only include either the invoice # and amount or the check number and amount with a running tally and total which is easy to follow and easily understandable...

Now every invoice on the statement also brings in a bunch of line items completely confusing the shit out of everyone.

This has to be a bug right? This can't be by design.

Edit: this has been like this for 7 days now. Statements are one of the most important tools for A/R in my business and I'm assuming every single customer ever created. Intuit needs to fix this absolutely BASIC FEATURE that accountants since the Egyptians have used.

Can't add new items (bug)

Just tried to create a new customer today and add a new service item to an invoice and nothing happens when I click add new. So I decided to try to go to my item list to create it there... Apparently items don't exist anymore. There is no place called products and services? I'm hoping this is a bug because it makes QB useless as a bookkeeping program if this is some design decision they made.

Anyone else having this issue this morning?
