Future planning question..to move or not to move

Current situation..

Husband bring in almost 200k per year in an area with high housing cost of living.

84k of that is passive income and will follow us wherever we go.

Currently own a home at 3.25 interest rate. Five years in on a 30 year mortgage. We are 40 and 45.

Our health insurance is tied to military retirement so will still have it if he quits his current job.

We have no land and no chance of land where we currently live. We would love to have space for our kids to stay close, put a home on our land/family compound etc.

We have a lot of debt so selling our current home would eliminate all that but we would not have anything left over.

Considering...

Moving to be closer to family in another state.

Housing is lower cost there and we could buy a home with land for about 400-450K

We would be starting over on a mortgage with double interest rate at age 46

We did the math and could afford our bills and part of our housing costs on his passive income. He may only need to work part time or at least make less and have a less serious job.

Do we...

Stay here until our youngest finishes highschool in 4 year. We will then be 9 years into our mortgage and still have our 3.25 interest rate. Hopefully pay off our consumer debt by then so he can then go to part time work.

or

Move, get the land, start over on mortgage but could potentially cut back on work sooner and have time freedom sooner but be locked into a mortgage longer.

Hopefully that all made sense. Would love everyones input!

Connection between Si and NEck

Has anyone noticed a significant connection between their SI joint and Neck? I have an SI that upslips. When I see my Osteopath he gently pulls down on my leg, pushes down on my pelvic.hip bone while kinda shifting the weight back and forth then does a little myofascial work on my neck and when I leave there, I feel completely different. Like I can go in in serious neck pain and when my SI is in place, my neck feels completely normal..until later in the day when I start to feel my Si slip out again and with it goes my neck. Its quite amazing actually. Curious if anyone has noticed stabilizing their Si joint has helped their neck?

Why is there no care.

I feel like someone is going to think this question or my understanding is stupid but I am going to ask anyway. How come if someone breaks their neck, there are doctors that know how to treat it, whole teams dedicated to their care etc and yet so little care or understanding around CCI. I know its not exactly the same thing obviously but can we really not figure this out? I feel so backed into a corner with almost not solutions to try.

Nucca and trouble swallowing

Had my first NUCCA appt yesterday. I have been doing upper cervical chiro for several years but this was my first NUCCA. It was very gentle and I felt really good after but shortly after I starting feeling bad and it has continued today. I feel like I am having trouble swallowing-mostly initiating it. Does it sound like this could be related? It so gentle that its hard to believe it could create such a crazy symptom. I also wonder if its not just from muscle guarding which I have a lot of lately anytime my neck is touched in any way.

Pt with Todd

I just started PT with Todd Ball. I think the program is good and needed but just after day one I have a return of this stinging/burning sensation on the side of my neck that I worked so hard to get rid of. I am assuming its a nerve exiting my facet joints that is getting irritated, I think from the tiny forward head nod and loading. Even feel a little weakness in my arms after the exercises.

Has anyone not been able to tolerate his Pt program pre treatment? I get posteriors later this month and wonder my facets need to be treated prior.

Flushing

Ive noticed that when my husband rubs the back of my neck where I get a lot of pain, I assume from nerves being compressed, that I get facial flushing. Whats the connection?

How much money are you getting by on in Missoula?

Since Reddit is anonymous, I figured why not ask. I think most people know jobs here dont keep up with cost of living. Curious how much everyone is making and what kind of lifestyle that is affording them in Missoula. We make 200k with all income combined, own a quaint home that we bought when interest rates were low, have some decent debt from a previous season of life (medical) but live frugally, drive older, paid off vehicles.

Does ON cause boat feeling

Does having ON ever make you feel like you are walking on a boat or cant hold your head up right. When its not flared I dont have these symptoms but when they are I feel unsteady.
