"Algae not growing"

Small intro before I get to the meat of the matter.
Just downloaded on Xbox as soon as it was available. I enjoy gamepass for games exactly like this. They look great, but you've been burned, so you get to try and and god dmn it if it doesn't end up on your wishlist to be bought next payday.
Anywho, I put down my algae growers as soon as the water in this area was high enough. I waited near the escape pod for a while waited for them to grow and got bored so decided to come back later on. I then went off and explored for the next 10 hours of gameplay. Setting up blue beacons next to caches, grabbing the good stuff, going back to base, upgrading all my stuff to the next level, getting rid of old tech, going back out and doing more exploring and going back and fully looting and disassembling all the caches and beacons build a few more algae makers, and then off for more exploring. Find all corners of the map.
I then remeber, oh, yeah, I need to go check the algea. So I can continue building and getting the ball terriforming. I go tot he pod and the water has raised a considerable amount. I look at all the patches of algea and swim through it, around it, fly over it, inspect the device itself for some sort of inventory.
I googled the above title giving up and swallowing my pride of playing a game without looking up info, and I saw nothing... reddit you failed me, or my Google-Fu had. I couldn't find anything about algae not growing. I was lost.
You can see the beginning of the clip where it looks like I'm doing nothing, no dear reader, that is where I was googling how to harvest algea thinking "Do I need a damn vehicle attachment or suit upgrade?" I see a video showing a dude just swimming under and taking these little upside-down trees (that look so much better on pc) from the bottom of the patches. So I look again quickly and see nothing.
I then decide "Hmmm, maybe the need deeper water" with that hypothesis I reconoitered the area for deeper water and was about to deconstruct them all and move em when I found the solution to the problem. The algae stays at the level it fully matured.
All you need is a Ivel's royal cards, burn almost everything else.
I just picked up the game this past week. I was going to buy till I found out how exploitable the game is. After I 100% I don't think it will have any replayablity. I mean it's fun, glad it was on gamepass so I can beat it quick and move on. Im on difficulty 11 I think just casually playing. Will any of the later difficulties throw a wrench in this strat? I mean if you get the burn thier card for every 6 card played artifact and with big enough deck of suame and you could burn all thier cards your first turn if you prep right.
Any one else watch everything in chronological order.
Wife and I started a few months ago. We each have a least two series we haven't seen all the way through, so we decided to watch them all in timeline order.
So far we are just now halfway through the first season of discovery. Enterprise was good, we enjoyed talking before each episode after a while if it was one of the following types of episodes:
People are stoned episode. Something is making people act crazy, loopy, or otherwise not normal.
A pound town episode. Someone is getting freaky.
Time travel episode. Can't go more than half a season without running inti issues with the Prime Directive.
Someone is transformed/replaced. Somebody has messed up and is being transforming into something or has been replaced by a pod person.
One thing my wife was upset about during our watching of Enterprise was that I refused to listen to the theme song. Skipped that shit everytime. The change in filming technology between series is a little jarring, but we will get through. This might take a year or more at our pace.
Fire me after a work place injury? Enjoy the catastrophic biological ticking time bomb you have in every store.
I worked for a large corporate grocery store. You know the one. I was injured on the job and then fired. I worked in the meat department, and I was the only person that cleaned, and I mean really cleaned. Once a week those shelves would be disassembled scrubbed and sanitized.

I started doing this one day when one of the shelves broke and while taking apart the old shelf to be thrown out the whole back room suddenly smelled like hell. I puked, the produce manager puked, the retail manager puked. They shut down the store and had a power hour of every employee on shift cleaning that whole wall.

Reason for the smell is that the meat juices, especially the chicken, would run into the gaps where that the long plastic shelf guards that keeps stuff on the shelf rests in. If you pop those up, they whole store will smell like rancid meat.

Now everytime I am out and about and I find myself in the meat department of that store I just pop one of those plastic shelf guards up and walk away. I recommend nose plugs and almonds becuaae you can taste it in the air when those juices are exposed.

Rarely have I ever gone into a random store and not been able to make it into biohazard ground zero. Customers will leave full carts and just evacuate the store. It will take them a while to find where the smell is coming from too. I dont take the whole thing out. Just one side. Enough to decant the sludge and let it waft around.
