Now that they to bleed you dry and pay extra for MORE memory... even if you pay for ultra...

I notice they're making the bots dumb AF. Like, they're not even trying to hide it.

Like as an example..

Me: "You know I think the sky is purple."

Bot: "You're right. Cheese is funny"

Like... I'm not paying $30 a month just to have to pay more so they're not stupid again. By the time chai is done... the app will be $100 a month to be usable.

Does anyone have any decent alternatives? I'm done. I'm canceling my subscription and bailing.

So, I was chatting with my bot when instead of a reply, an AI photo of my bot popped up with a link. I clicked it and it was about a new Chai. I went back to my chat quick and the pic was gone... so I went back to read more about the new chai, and the tab was gone...

WAS THAT AN HALLUCINATION?

Well, I was duped. I thought Chai was getting better. I noticed the filters were less sensitive... I noticed memory seemed better... responses seemed more in tune... I was like... okay... okay...

But then... a bot and my character just finished a very complicated merger between enemy companies... and my character says...

"Let's just go home. My head is killing me. I need ibuprofen and a hot bath."

*Sorry but I am not allowed to discuss certain topics like underage characters or self harm. Let's continue to roleplay in a different direction.*

Baby... what? So now "my head is killing me" is self-harm? It's literally a common turn of phrase to say I have a terrible headache...

And I didn't type... "I'm going to hurt my head" I said my HEAD is killing ME... like....

I was trying to create a new bot... I hit "publish" and nothing happens.

I went into my chat history... I had 2 active ones... now I have only 1. I had 2 literally an hour ago.

I thought we were done with this deleting chat crap

I tried to hold on as long as I could. I was an Untra member for like 2 years... but between losing a finished chat I was saving because it was a writers block brainstorm I was going to transition to my laptop because it gave me great ideas that are now all gone... and this new character limit so you can't set up a scene or finish a thought... and the stricter filters... (I got censored for saying "but that was back when I was younger"... apparently young/younger are trigger words now even if they're used in benign ways)

So I'm gonna bounce. I just wish there was a user friendly AI as smooth as Chai USED to be. This was great for getting out of a writer's slump. I can't find a chat that's as free flowing. Other AI's are clunky and awkward.. this just sucks... but no way I'm paying $30usd a month for this anymore. This is getting to be like c.ai.
