WASPS coming out my a/c whahhhhy :0(

i hate him :(

Sucked up the first one with my vacuum and then put on a ziploc + rubber band at the end of the hose. Felt so guilty after the adrenaline wore off and put a towel over the canister so I wouldn't have to watch him suffer. Was scared to look to see if he was dead and really needed to vacuum my apartment. But then -- two days later -- his little friend arrives. Have a whole routine down now; rubber gloves, face mask, goggles, and over ear head phones. I sucked up #2 and did the ziploc + rubber band job on eem. On this hot ass week too oml. This guy is a friendly loner pollinator but cmon man get out!!!

Are as-needed anxiety meds for fireworks okay given a heat wave?

Hello, just wondering about giving my dog half or full dose 100mg Trazodone for today / tomorrow's fireworks. I have firework-happy neighbors that light a few up occasionally year-round, but imagine they'll go big tonight and tomorrow for 4th of July.

She has been really hot in the late afternoons / early evenings. She shows signs mild heat stress in the apartment when my in-window AC unit, fans, and cardboard over sunny windows can't compete with late afternoon sun and high heat / humidity. When she lets me, I put a towel near her femur and belly. She goes under my bed, where I've placed a cooling mat for her. Lots of water available and fruit and veggie treats with high water content. She can get to a point where she stops panting, but it comes and goes so I know she's able to get cool.

Just worried about giving her something that might zonk her out and interfere with her ability to thermoregulate. Any guidance is much appreciated!
