Started my first ever playthrough a couple weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. The amount of grass seems excessive though. I keep losing enemy bodies in the grass for instance. Is it posssible the reduce it?

I got a 4.0 via the upcycle system from a friend with a prepaid year membership. I dont want to renew my membership so I cancelled it today. Do I need to send the device back?
