Pinky Promise

I've been practicing that chopstick hop thing you see in most tournament routines and combining it with other elements. I, personally, think the chopstick hop thing looks goofy, but it is difficult, so I assume it gets you decent points in a routine. (I've never been to a tournament, and I only have basic knowledge of how the points work these days from what little I've read.)

I also bumped my finger at the end, ruining the flow 😅 Maybe I'll do a better take of this in the future, or probably build upon it.

Low Battery - AY/YM ChipNomad

I recently started playing around with ChipNomad just to try something new that can easily run on my Anbernic handheld. I don't fully understand what it's capable of yet, but the gritty sounds that can be made with the AY chip is fun.

Pocket Repeaters and Elements Vol. 1

I have been wanting to make this video for a while, and now that I have more storage space to record at 60fps I was able to put it together. This is a lot of basic, single hand, chopsticks/forkchop heavy repeaters and elements I use in a lot of my combinations/tricks. The names are mostly for helping me remember my own elements and repeaters because it's easier to remember the movements by associating it with something.

I'm not very good at making tutorials, but watching these at half speed on YouTube will look smoother now since the frame rate is higher, so you should more easily be able to figure things out by watching. Plus, the song I used sounds neat at half tempo.

Zepheus Creamsicle

u/yoyoingdadjoke sent me a Zepheus Creamsicle a few weeks before they were released and I've been playing around with it almost every day since then. The classic width and stability make it fun to take around with me when I go out, and since it's plastic I don't have to worry as much about it being severely scarred by bumping into something. It definitely isn't a throw for competitions or crazy long combos, but the simplicity of it makes it enjoyable for fooling around.

If you want one you can check yoyoingdadjoke's Etsy page on his profile. The strings he makes are also amazing, and I should review them at some point because they've become my favorites.

Himitsu(Secret) - Risa NES Rendition

I've never made NES music before, but I saw the new tracker, Risa, from laamaa.fi and decided to make a rendition of my LSDJ song, Himitsu(Secret), in it to try it out. I could probably do more in Furnace for NES music, but the LSDJ style of Risa is familiar and fun.

STORAGE - Insufficient Space - LSDJ Techno

I'm still working on my themed album, which has to do with computer parts and other related aspects of a computer. This song was based on how I perceive data storage sounds, minus hard disk clicks of death because that's horrifying to hear. I posted this to YouTube as well if you want to add it to any playlist. https://youtu.be/cZ4CqodOx4g?si=rgbQ6Xnm00Ki_aoC

Red Panda Yo-Yo Strings & Zepheus Creamsicle

I recently received a package of Red Panda Yo-Yo strings and the Zepheus Creamsicle from u/yoyoingdadjoke

These brighter colors are very nice and the yo-yo is a lot of fun to throw. I'll try to make a proper review in the future for these strings(and probably the yo-yo, too) because they've become my favorites.

Kirby Inspired Rave - LSDJ

I'm currently working on a themed album, but I was also listening to Kirby music recently. I wanted to try replicating that common arpeggio in its music, which I did, and then turned into this rave mess. It's kind of fun, I think.

I had this idea to use start up jingles and sounds from older Windows for an LSDJ song and this is what resulted from it in a few hours. I took the start up jingle from Windows 2000 to build a chord progression and then started adding funny stuff in it for laughs.
