Left Muskoka at 10 am for the game today but the traffic since just north of Barrie has been a nightmare!
We are currently 300 meters from turning onto the 401 and I am concerned we are going to be late. Wouldn’t have thought 5 hours wasn’t enough time to get there and parked, especially since GPS originally told us we would arrive before 1pm.🤦🏻‍♀️

Best place to park? My husband has been to the venue a few times already and always parks across the road but is worried by the time we get there the lot will be full.

Thoughts on parking options would be so appreciated!

Hoping for some guidance please.
I am not knowledgeable in tech but I need something portable for my 85 year old mum to listen to her audiobooks on. She has an audible premium account with about 200 books that she has either bought with credits or cash. We downloaded Libation and put her books on her computer but we need an mp3 player so she she can listen to them while she wanders around our 800 acre farm doing chores. She hates cell phones and refuses to carry one.
We are in Canada and I almost purchased this Hifi Walker, but don’t understand if I can transfer her books from the computer to this. Also if it will be easy for her to listen to the books on this. The Audible app does such a great job of keeping her place and letting her skip forward or back.

I would really appreciate some advice if this is possible. My mum is a bit of a doomsday type and thinks that one day she will wake up and the audible app will disappear and she will not be able to access her books. She wants to be able to listen independently of the app, even though she has a subscription. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Does this make any sense?

She will never be A’Ja obviously and she will never be the volume shooter that Clarke is but there are very few players as clutch as Paige Bueckers. There is a focus level and drive she that is just incredible. She has some rare pieces for such a young player. Her leadership, her selflessness and willingness to stand up for what she believes in make her an incredible teammate but that ability to come through and put the team on her back is just WOW!!

That was a great game last night. The Sun has some really great players on that team. It was a joy to watch!

I live in Canada and my husband and I will be picking up our new foster children in 10 days. We have 3 grown children and 2 young grandchildren, and have committed to a family grouping of teens, 12, 13, 15, 16. We are hoping to be the last home for these lovely children, and we want to have things as ready as possible for them, and are not getting much cooperation from the children as they are used to having nothing and it stresses them significantly if we ask them for any information about what they like in terms of clothing or colours/styles.
All four of the children need good backpacks for school. We also want to get them each good duffles for travelling to our cottage on the weekends, and good lunch bags. A friend suggested Inuk Bags as they know we like to shop Canadian where we can. Their bags look quite nice, another option would be Osprey, they have quite a few different styles. We have several Tom Bihn bags at our house, and I would purchase those in a heartbeat if it didn’t cost me almost $500 Canadian last year for a Synik 22 by the time I paid the exchange/taxes/shipping from the U.S.
We live in Northern Ontario so almost everything has to be shipped, there isn’t any shopping where we are to try things out.
We often order from MEC.

Kids are 12 yr old girl, 13 yr old boy, 15 yr old girl, and 16 yr old boy. I am willing to spend up to $250 Canadian each on the backpacks.

I was also looking at the watershed duffles from Inuk as well.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The kids walk about 4 blocks to school, and we just bought the older 2 MacBooks so they will need to have protection for laptops as well as room for notebooks and a textbook or two.

Just curious if I have missed any updates on what’s going on with Li other than her just not playing. Her not getting any minutes at all must be making the Chinese Federation crazy.

We are in Ontario but can’t find the bloody game anywhere on TV!!

We also have League Pass but of course the game is blacked out.

What the hell. How can this game not be on TV in the team’s own country???
