Also, Diane is in this episode. This was after Patty caught Jack and Diane having an affair and Patty then miscarried her baby with Jack. Then after Patty found out that Jack lied to her during their entire marriage and it was a sham. Also, Diane was married to Paul's best friend Andy Williams at the time as well.

The old school y&r fans would remember this. So right after when Patty divorced Jack back in 1984 she got involved with Danny Romanotti (Yes, that same ex-husband of Phyllis and back again current husband of Christine with Christine now being Patty's former sister-in-law). By the time Danny and Patty dated, Traci (Patty's now former sister-in-law) was pregnant by her college professor while she was attending college. However, Tracy's relationship with her professor ended when she caught him in bed with another woman. Tracy then turned to Danny for guidance, Danny stepped in and even married Traci to give the baby a father. So Danny dumped Patty for Traci. This caused Patty to be extremely upset and she went to confront Traci. Patty was upset because she believed Tracy stole Danny from her. This led to an argument between the two women and caused a jealous Patty to push Traci down the stairs and cause Tracy to miscarry her child. Soon after that. Tracy went to annul the marriage with Danny and she moved on to Brad Carlton. Which then Danny was upset with Patty which was understandable which caused Patty to leave town in 1984 (the same year she divorced Jack) and not return until many years later in 2009. So the feud between Tracy and Patty was already there. But the death of Traci's daughter Colleen at the hands of Patty is what cemented their feud even further.

Okay, I understand Nick's perspective on Matt because of their history. But for Noah, I mean he basically had an affair with his (Matt's) wife when Matt took him in. Yes Matt had affairs but also Noah did cheat on Allie with Sienna and left her. Which begs the question, Does Allie still know? Noah has has this mindset I believe when Sienna is might going to go back to Matt which I do think it would eventually happen because Matt knows Sienna more than Noah and that it's just Noah's turn. Right. I believe that it's more that of what is happening with Sienna more so than Matt did to his parents.
