Pain or just twitches?

Hi all. Just wondering if most of you in this community are dealing with pain or do you only have fasciculations? Did it start as pain and then twitch, or twitch first and then pain or no pain at all? I’m just curious.

Arm seized up, feels heavy

Hey guys me again. Has anyone here had their arm seize up? The other day after a long day of travel my left arm (the side that bothers me most) seized up. I could not get it rest at all. Lasted maybe 8 hours until I took a muscle relaxer. Since then over the next few weeks it has seemed very heavy, like a brick to lift. And I notice that it can’t quite keep up with my right arm when I do my light lifting excercises. I posted this already but the other night I had weird electric shock like stabbing in bother feet and hands. I feel like the symptoms keep adding on and I keep seeing different ways people first noticed their A*S and it’s really scaring me. Three months out from my EMG/NCS. Go in for my EEG this week for my jerking.

New symptoms- stabbing pain

Hi all. Forty year old female. Started having some on again off again shooting pain down the left side about 6 months ago. Starting March 1 I presented with widespread fasciculations, myoclonic jerks, dysphagia, and occasional vibrations left leg and perceived weakness on the left side. Symptoms seemed to be holding steadily the same. About 3 days ago I noticed severe tightening in my muscles. Felt like my feet and hands were in or close to a Charley horse cramp at all times. Then last night out of nowhere I had severe shooting, stabbing pains in my arms, hands, feet and legs that would cause my hands and feet to draw up. It was very painful. Can’t get in for my emg/ncs for another three months. Just really spiraling and hurting. Mental and physical health is just awful.

New symptoms

I went to bed thinking I was in for another night of fasciculations and myoclonus but as soon as I tried falling asleep I wasn’t just experiencing jerks, it was painful electric like stabs in all four limbs. So painful. All night. Several sharp pains in my abdominal muscles as well. I truly feel like I’m progressing. I just keep getting hit with something new. I’m living in a nightmare and all I want is my old life back 😭

Cramps

I had no idea cramping was a sign of the big bad thing and then someone posted an *** awareness thing on Facebook and it said twitching/cramping. Now overnight and in to today my whole body is a walking Charley horse. 😭😭😭

How can this be benign?!?

I’m only a little over two months in with widespread fasciculations and I just can’t wrap my head around how this could possibly be benign. Also experiencing myoclonus and pain as well as occasional zapping and vibrating sensations. Along with obviously being mentally ill from all the stress this has put me in. Fully convinced I’m dying. I don’t even know why I’m posting I just need to say this somewhere.
