Jeans for dramatic

To accentuate the vertical and not interrupt the vertical on dramatics, you can see visually longer pants, especially with appointed shoe create the column look so I’ve shown this three different ways long pants with pointed shoe long pants with round shoe and cropped pants. Even though I love cropped pants, they do interrupt the vertical line. I like to mix it up on occasion, but visually on a photo I can see why the Kibbe system does work.

Two different looks with same jeans.

Loved the blue top “in person” as the jeans have blue in them which not as visible in the photo, but pink probably looks more cohesive and less choppy for my frame. Pants Ann Taylor. Everything else, online, mainly Amazon. 😊

Leaning to Dramatic styling lately, 5’9

I’m definitely leaning more dramatic with style, but appreciate softness too. However when I go too soft (last outfit at concert) it doesn’t quite look right, at least in photos.

Advice for style and variation or keep what works.

I’m 5’9. Definitely leaning to a more tailored style lately, but not sure where to go from here or if my clothing is soft and feminine enough. When I do a very feminine soft look (last photo white jeans at a concert) it doesn’t feel like it quite works. I like the capsule of the green set from Ann Taylor but most of my looks are very similar in a streamlined way.

Work outfit

Been trying to dress more elegantly for work, but I do not like the structure of a blazer. Any other suggestions? (Did not do hair, was just trying on the outfit)

[54] What a wild ride it’s been. Sobriety and recovery. Mental and physical health journey.

First and most important, I got sober.

When I initially stopped drinking, I lost 100 pounds in about eight or nine months just from no alcohol no sugar and walking every day.

I changed my entire life, moved and started over. I did not really think I had a drinking problem, so as soon as I restarted my life I started drinking again and within 10 months I was in a formal recovery Program. I got nearly 1000 days under my belt at that point I relapsed.

I also dealt with some life-threatening medical issues, unrelated to the weight, but in many ways related to my alcoholic thinking which led to me not getting medical care sooner. In December, I started my day count again and am currently six months sober. I go to daily recovery meetings and take it very seriously.

I also lost the last of the weight taking me from a high of 265 during the height of my drinking to 129 pounds today. I had some loose skin removed from the lower abdomen only and that was an in office procedure. It did not take off pounds. It took off ounces and I went back to work the next day.

I also had an upper bleph on my eyes that had become very droopy and had Invisalign to correct an overbite. That is the extent of any cosmetic procedures.

The weight was lost through intermittent fasting, walking and swimming and being sober.

The last thing I did was change my hair color recently because as a lifetime blonde I thought I’d try something new.

I feel a sense of calm today, and try to do the next right thing every day. Thank you for letting me share!

Changed everything!! Fasting OMAD mixed with eating windows of up to 4-6 hours. Low carb. Cut sugar. Sober- no more alcohol for me. Had upper bleph for droopy eye, Invisalign and changed my hair! Ten year age difference in before and after.

F/54/5’9 [265>132 = 133 lbs ] (14 months ) sober and completely transformed my life.

Gained so much weight during the drinking years. After starting meditation and self hypnosis, spontaneously stopped drinking and company changed my life. People no longer recognize me. Did this in two phases. Nearly 100 pounds in 9 months; then the rest in 5 months. Took a break in between to deal with life threatening health issues; emotional and physical. Unrelated to the weight. I’m not the same person I was before. I’m sad when I see the old me. My entire life was a lie and I used alcohol and food to escape.
